Fchat-Rally Europe 2004: meat to the bone!

    i seriously apologize to distract you all from the extraordinary and exciting experiences which are shared lately in the european section. but excitement does not end :D

    status report Fchat-Rallye Europe 2004, Andermatt, Switzerland

    1. car accomodation
    the basement garage of the multipurpose hall in andermatt is reserved for all nites, costs per nite: CHF 120.- (for the complete garage, not per car). the garage is big enough for up to 30 cars, i believe (difficult to estimate).

    2. participants accomodation
    25-30 double rooms are pre-reserved, available are two categories (special rates):
    - ski-club (pius' guesthouse): 9 doubles at CHF 140.- per room/night
    - hotel sonne: around 20 doubles at CHF 180.- per room/night

    3. closed road
    instead of looking to close the göscheneralp-road to the public, we found a much more attractive possibility: the one and only, the fabulous and famous......[size=+4]TREMOLA!!!![/size]
    this will be part of one of our two one-day tours.

    4. sponsoring with Swissöl does not work, new sponsors are very welcome!

    5. applications
    application will be done by a PM to me with name and particulars of the participants and the car AND by a prepayment fee, which still has to be defined.

    program and schedule will be detailled further on, i'll keep you posted.

    Wonderful news and I believe we are all exciting looking forward to meet each other.
    About the pre-payment fee.
    Very good idea to see and make sure who realy will show up for the event!
    A €uro: 100,- should be accepted and fine enough for pre-payment!

    Hi Didier,
    the TREMOLA is a very famous old PASS. In the `50th and early `60th there were some hill-climing-races!!!!!

    to be even more precise: it's the very old st. gotthard road from the pass down to airolo. it's a road with paving stones, so i recommend to everybody to control the power of the cavallinos with the respect due!

    as far as i believe, pius has no singles, but i will check.
    but not 6:30 in the morning :D ...smells like party tonight....

    Hey Trevi !

    What's the difference between both double rooms for that price (clubhouse - hotel)? Do you have some pictures of both or a description ?

    But as always you can already boo 1 double and 1 parking space for my little red corvette...oeps..Prince song...F-car.
