Houston-Upcoming Saturday Exotics and Coffee 7/5/08

Not sure I'll be there or not, as I may be suffering from a long over due hang-over. But I plan to be there.

I was thinking about this yesterday. I don't know if I'll make it out to this one. I am sure it is going to be a LONG night. I will see how things go but no promises.

 

I will be at this event as the 4th of July is my birthday and I'm hoping to be there with BigTex.

Would love to roar in just once fill up the front lot with exotics and take over the pool, half the time there's no one around, although there is the one cute blond I see doing laps early sometimes....

 

New to the group but, a long time memeber reading Ferrari Chat. Good Stuff here! I look forward to meeting (viewing) all (cars) this upcoming July 5th. I would also like to know what type of events you all do, TWS or MSR, etc... or heck just back road high speed drives! My favorite!!

Welcome aboard....I like that this event brings out a very diverse crowd, there will be a little of everything, Lambo guys have had a recent driving event at the Track south of town, FCA sometimes goes to College Station, and heck these guys just make a 'spirited cruise" down Memorial Drive after a few cups of coffee....

There was some guy introduced himself at my apartments, I told him to come on out, ...LOL!

 

It's been a while since I have been out at TWS but, I really enjoy the 2.9m track. Nothing says SPEED more then letting the car go full throttle and hearing the tires squeal a tad in the hard turns! I was very active in 2001/2002 and now I am trying to return and see who's doing what these days. I may need a faster car as the hp bench mark has been rasied since 2000!

I think I might have talked my friend with the CGT into coming out. I'm also going to post over on the MINI forum, and try to get some of them out for sentimental reasons. I don't miss having the ex around in any shape, form, or fashion, but I sure miss driving her Cooper S.
