I have to say honestly that this was THE BEST turnout yet! Tons of great cars, great people as always, and great cool beach weather! I think these are my best photos yet! Enjoy
Oh man!!! I guess they repaved it so it must have been closed! Dang! I was wondering how you posted so early. Well its ok Jordan, the beautiful weather and blue sky is enough for me to be happy about! Thanx again!!! There is always next week!!! Oh and forgot to mention that BEAUTIFUL white stallion!!!^_^ How many horsies does she pump out again?=P
no worries, there was indeed a real show with a REAL amazing turnout and I got some real pictures coming soon. I just had to play a little gag The rarest and most expensive car ever to be at Crystal Cove was there this morning...pictures to follow!
LMAO Did you talk to the owner of that awesome white Mustang? Did it have the "Chairs and Flairs" option? Looks like 3 piece wheels also. Awesome!
Ok ok here are the real pictures Now it really was an amazing turnout! To my knowledge the 500 TRC is the rarest and most valuable car that has ever shown up at Crystal Cove! The owner drove it down from Beverly Hills just to show it off this morning!! What a cool guy!! The car is in fact original and it has a very extensive race history. Everything else I will let speak for itself Ive got 98 pictures on the way...so here is the first set.
Man! You got me with your joke! These are AWESOME pics!!! Maybe you should become a photo journalist! Man, it sure does look like it was a great turnout! AWESOME cars!!! Thanx Jordan! You make it possible for me to feel like I am home when I'm away!!!^_^
Oh man, I wish I went this morning. I was actually up, but pretty tired from yesterday, plus my car is reaaaaaly dirty from my off-course excusion. I'll be there next week. Dom
Jordan, I think the Starbucks nextdoor has wireless, one of these days, you and I should bring a laptop and a webcam for those not fortunate enough to attend You can upload as you shoot them. Make it the first live Fchat event streamed on the web. LOL
Ah, but you must make sure you persuade the owners of the rarest and most exotic cars to drive up within webcam range and talk about their cars. Make a snazzy intro song and host "Ferrari Chat TV: Your Source for Exotic Cars Weekly" or some such.
Thanks Jordan for the pics. I really appreciate the pics of the grey Ferrari 625TRC spider. In the 90's this car was in the Netherlands. But the Dutch owners was arrested and went to jail because of drug smuggling. In 2001 the Dutch gouvernement auctioned this car and it went to a new owner in the USA. It's nice to see the car having a good time now in the USA. I hope it will appear more at Crystal Cove.
Great pics Jordan! Better buy some more memory sticks for tomorrow! I was up as well. Unfortunately, had an early morning appointment with the Ding Doctor at my house to do some minor ding removal on my other cars (not the F-car!). I think I am going to leave my 360 alone the way it is. Not sold on the aero kit idea anymore!
Thanks for the information!! I overheard the owner talking about a history like that...what a story. Sorry to mistake it for a 500 TRC. I dont know my vintage Ferraris all that well. I cant begin to describe to you guys the sound of htis car though...just amazing!! I heard him zip up PCH long before I saw him...I darted across the parking lot, through the bushes and planters, and stood on the side of the parking lot in order to get a good clean shot of him coming in. Luckily I was able to!
According to the Starbuck's website, the Crystal Cove store does not have wireless internet, so it does not look like we will be doing a webcam event anytime soon.
Great pics Jordan! You really got me on your joke, I thought they closed CC for sure! Wheeew! But awesome stuff Jordan, I really liked that VW with the wired body thing. Thats crazy. -David
I had a great time this morning at CC! That 625 TRC was the coolest Fcar there! Wow it was an honor to see that car, so unique and prestigious ^_^ Great pics once again jordan, i don't even wanna post mine now lol
How fast was that tree and island going?! Someday, I'll have to wake up early enough to get down there. Thanks Jordan for sharing the pictures. AWESOME as always! Manny
First of all, great pics, Jordan, as always. Second, if you care to learn more on the car, check out Forza #38 June 2002. Dunno if you get or have ever gotten Forza before...if I had a convenient way of getting you the article I would, but alas I do not. If you're really really interested, I guess I can find a way. Just lemme know. Saw the car at the Petereson once. I myself don't know much about the car either. Just remember that I read the article once and saw it. The little hood scoop looks different now than in the article. Can't remember if that's how it was when I saw it. Man, would've loved to hear it though. I bet it sounded awsome.
Glad I did not go. I would like to go next Saturday. Many should be there. Thanks, Jordan for telling be about your fun trip. Did you awake early today? Ha-ha
Jordan, great pics as usual. I went too late and everybody was gone already. Jeffrey, I think your car looks much better stock with the Novitec wheels than that aero kit.
Really poor property management and/or incredibly poor sequence of bad luck for that guy trying to sell the Caddy for $15K, with the sprinkler shower and all. It's not like this is the 1st gathering of this nature there either. Just imagine if that had happened to an open cockpit really $$$ car. A lotta jing for somebody's insurance, at least. If anyone has access to the property management, might be a good idea to alert them of what happened... and, just in case, park waaay far away from sprinklered areas. That geyser was shooting well OVER the top of the Caddy. I am told that Starbuck's makes there month in that one morning. Maybe they have some pull, if nothing else, to get this foolproofed. Or, The Batmobile probably has some device that can remedy the situation. Thank you very much and ciao Fury
