I'll try to explain this one as best I can.... First off, the main function of the event was to get as many toys for the kids as possible, the second function was a car show, and both tasks were accomplished. The Lambos had another event that they had committed to that was slightly later that day and that's where they went. However, they still came by and dropped off their toys, and that's what it's all about.

Yes it could have worked out a little better, we started off way too late, we should have got to the event much earlier that way all the Lambos could have at least been there for a couple hours, so hopefully next year there won't be another event on the same day and we can get together earlier. Another thing, the Lambos should have been directed to the "Italian" section, not the auxilary lot, but that probably happened because we were late, next year we'll work on that hopefully as well. We did get stuck in huge line to get into the event which took half an hour to get thru, otherwise we would have been there sooner.

That being said, my car, a Lambo, was probably the very last Lambo left at the event, so obviously I didn't leave with the other Lambos, and thanks to all the Lambos that did stay, there was probably a dozen or so that stayed, so thanks for hanging in!

I hope that explains it correctly...

Too bad.....It just struck me as strange that the exit came so abruptly....I think there is more to the story, the M4T event has been planned for ages now. If one makes a commitment to the cause, one should uphold one's commitment. This is not directed at anyone in particular, just a general statement.
Another thing I noticed what the lack of LAMBO merchandise at the auction. I had heard that the local dealership was going to step up with donations, yet nothing was there. It always impresses me when a dealership supports community events such as M4T, so admittedly this was a bit disappointing.
I certainly hope "politics" did not play any part in this.

Politics absoutely played a pat in the early departure of the caravan of Lambos. I am not going to mention names but I do know who was behind it. Furthermore, certain individuals have been playing a political game of one upsmanship ever since the new Lambo dealer opened its doors in Calabasas right down the street from the Auto Gallery. I will leave it at that.

It was great seeing the Lambos pull in, sucks that they had to leave so soon. But sometimes other stuff comes up. I think the Monterey Blue LP640 Roadster was one of the best looking cars at the show period though.
