I was at Homedepot today and unfastened my daughter from her seat, closed the door and began to walk towards the entrance. This guy in his sixties pulls up to us and says: "man, I've never seen anyone with a car like that shopping at Homedepot". I said, I have to shop here because I drive a 360. He laughed and commented how beautiful the car was.

While getting gas this hillbilly in a pick-up asks me if it's the new Camaro. Sure is!

While at the grocery store a couple of 9 year olds ask if they can look at it. I open the door and let them take pictures of each other with their cell phone while sitting in the driver's seat. A few minutes go by and their hot mom comes over and introduces herself. Uh, I better go before my wife sees me--she'll take the car away. Milf magnet!

While dropping my son off at school I park the car a distance from the entrance so I can walk him in to chat with his teacher. As we walk across the parking lot a hottie driving an old vette parks a few away from my 360. As I return to my car she's looking in the engine compartment through the glass. I ask if she wants to look inside. "Sure". She sits in the driver's seat and chats for a few. When she gets out and swings her leg out I almost fall over myself. Free shot my friends. Oh man, where was this car when I was younger and swingle?? Don't tell me, I already know the answer.

    Good times...

Letting the young folks get in and take camera phone pics is priceless! Good for you! I enjoy doing that as well. Cheers!

Very Nice, I guess that is why a Ferrari is worth so much. Try to do that with that Nissan GTR.

We had a Ferrari gathering yesterday and we guys were all commenting on how little women even notice the Ferrari in the DC area! LOL! I have been asked a dozen times at least "what kind of Mustang is that?", aarrrgghhhh!!!
I was told a Ferrari would make me a sexier man, but no luck as of yet!!! Big LOL!!!

On the side of that every college and teenage boy and father notice the car and want to take pictures. I always try and oblige and take the time to let them see the engine and ask all the questions they want. Heck, I am still a fan myself!

My son says: "daddy, can we take the Fuwawi?" I love it.

I've owned other sports cars, but no car turns men in to little boys like a Ferrari. It's amazing! I've lost count of how many kids I've allowed to sit in my car and take pics or toot the horn. I've never met a Ferrari snob--they don't exist.

Oh, my brother's son came over two weeks ago and helped me wash the car. I paid him $20 for his efforts. He's nine and loves the darn thing more than I do. He's told all his friends that his uncle owns a Ferrari. I plan to pick him up from school in a couple of weeks as a surprise, he lives 45 minutes away. He'll be the talk of the school.

Having come from the Porsche ranks (a fine car, too), I never realized the magnetism of this brand. I'm truly blessed to own one, even if it's for a short time. It is a blast. Sorry for rambling. This stuff is probably old hat for you guys, I just never get used to it--and hope I never do. :)

These are the stories that I like to hear. The fact that a car can be enjoyed by many people is a great thing. If I'm ever near your area, I'll wash your car for free :)

My first day out with mine, 4 camera phone pics (twice when parked and twice from cars at lights) and a guy in an S65 AMG nearly crashed he was staring so hard (my little old $100k car compared to his $180k car - I guess price is not the secret here).

I am curious if Lambos brings in the same attention?

Doesn't matter, I am still getting a Ferrari no matter what. Actually I am getting a little pissed off at being able to find a decent 99-00 red manual 360.

Probably more attention, they are a little more "in your face" and their colors can be quite bright; there are lots of Yellow Gallardos on the roads.

But dude......think about it. Had your meeting a woman been predicated on the basis of the car you drove she certainly would have been a materialistic, shallow and a money-grubbing psychopath. Sure, the sex would be amazing and you would look forward to coming home every day....but over time it would grow old and she'd probably cheat on ya and all the other guys would think you needed a crutch to score such a hot betty. You probably wouldn't have had such wonderful children and eventually there'd be a messy divorce. Oh awful awful awful. You want the girls to like you for who you are, not being influenced by what you drive!!!!

No my friend, you're FAR better off today by not having that Ferrari back then!!!!

And if you are the least bit able to believe ANY of what I've just written.....PLEASE let me know and teach me how! :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

I remember several year ago I did that for a friend of mine and his younger brother. His brother was in middle school and I dropped him off and picked him up a couple of times. The first time was in a Lotus Esprit S4, and then again I dropped him off in a Ferrari 348ts. The next day Nathan (who was my friend) calls me and says, 'Man...you have made Zach the most popular kid in school. All of the kids are talking about him getting dropped off in exotic cars,' which made me smile. The power of the exotic car. :)

I was in a 550 a year or so back. I was so caught up in the fact that I was actually in this car and trying to take it all the details that the outside world was somewhat oblivious. As I was at a stoplight I was distracted by a flash of a camera phone and looked up to see 4 guys hanging out the windows grabbing pics. It was then I realized that I WAS that guy in THAT car. It was a humbling experience even to this day. I would love to be able to bring someone to their school and make their day, I would have been on cloud ten if that happened to me :)

Pulled into a local 7-11 to buy a pack of smokes a few months ago, bunch of kids all were gawking and taking pictures on cell phones. One kid asked what I did for a living, told him I'm a stockbroker....he said "oh like the movie Boiler Room.....can you afford to put gas in it"..

Got married back in September, had my car parked in front of the reception hall for pictures when my new wife and I arrived, plus a way to get home afterwards. As we pull into the parking lot, there was a mob of people around the car..(people frome the previous wedding) taking pictures, videos etc.....I needed to get a bag out of the 360 so I walked over and opened the door....the bride from the previous wedding went ballistic on me saying it was her day and she is getting pictures done and the reception hall was kind enough to get her the car as a PROP....I looked at her like she had 12 heads :) She thought the car was there for her!

You sound like a decent person and those are some fun stories. I always get asked if that's the new Mustang cause it has a horse on it. Very rarely asked if its a MR2. Toyota I believe.

You guys are so awesome/lucky and I can't wait until I have the opportunity to do that some day!

I am only 20 (21 next Wednesday) so I may have a little while to go, but my goal is to own one and share it like you guys have.

On a related story, I own a BMW 750iL (E38) and it was parked out front in valet at the local mall. As I came out, there was a young kid starting to kneeling on the ground next to the it and I saw his mom was taking his picture next to my car. I walked up and asked him if he wanted to sit in the drivers seat, and he did (he was nervous) as his mom took a bunch of pictures. It was a lot of fun. The funny (although I guess not really on this site ;-]) thing was that there was a red 355 Spider right in front of me and he never went near it! I've also had the cell phone camera pictures a lot too. All this from a car I bought for 16k!!

Good job guys, if any of you took me to school I'd never forget it :)

Just a quick shot of my car. No Ferrari, but no "old man" car either.

Very funny thread. Same things happen to me always i drive my car. People take pictures, trying to follow me in their "normal" cars, asking questions. Very often question (especialy at gas stations)from guys driving their old cars is "lets try who is faster". Its actually almost impossible not te see anyone close to my car if i park somewhere. Especially in my country where is 360 even more rare, the big part of the driving experience is not only this amazing car itself, but also what happens around me. But they usualy always recognize that its Ferrari. But sometimes its too much and i sometimes realy hate it, i dont have the car to be poser.......

A girl I used to hang out in with a while back, when I was living in NY, came over to my hometown and calls me. I drove up to her Hotel, with a 360 and once she sits in the car, the first words out of her mouth: "where is the cup holder?.
She was kindly asked to step out and wait my return. I took the Ferrari back home, and came to pick her up in my Del Sol with two cupholders. Enough said.

Good stories. I have only had my car about 2 weeks, and have had similar experiences. The neighbors kids come over to look all the time, a bit shy. Finally I ask them if theyd like to take a look and boy you should see the excitement in their eyes. The best part is the neighbor's wife coming over to talk to me (Milf city). Being single, had nothing to worry about except Mr. Milf. Its funny when girls go check out the engine bay. I wonder if they really care or are just finding an excuse to break the ice. Either way, the Ferrari can be used to your advantage with women, even meeting a reasonable one, if you know how to USE your TOOLS correctly :) It can be a good way to meet someone, but just have to be careful in reading her whether or not she is a gold-diggin ho or a reasonable girl with hear head on straight. Just because you met over the ferrari doesnt mean that is the basis and foundation for the relationship, boys! Graunted.. 80% of them may have alterior motives, but some many not.

I heard these 2 kids, about 9 years old, argueing over if it was a Lamborghini or a Mustang haha! "No, its a MUSTANG, look at the horse on it.."
