FCI has an F50, at least they did when the Ferrari Challenge was at VIR. It looks like the F50 has an FCI plate on the back. I really wish I could have headed down there to check everything out.

You dog....I see you won the 12-cylinder class, again!!!! Must be the sweet sound coming out the back end. Great to see you and look forward to catching up about some charters to Raleigh & Atlanta. Congrats again... Doug
Great pics guys! Man I never really realized how similar the front quarter panel of my mondial is to the 328's until I saw that picture of all the 3 series cars in a line..... No better pictures of hot chicks? There were plenty there. That blonde in the white outfit was gorgeous....
Erhm, why be taking pictures of temperature elevated chickens when there are a bunch of prancing black horses around?
i missed the show this year but it looks like there was a great turn out...even better than last year. can anyone comment on several of the cars for me? i know lee holman's (the jim rose built 250) car but there looked to be another 250 there as well...what was it and who did it belong to? was it the sister car of lee's...jim rose's personal car? also, no one mentioned the daytona in the pictures...looks like there were some "movie star" ferraris there but they got little ink in this forum...why? i will do my best to make it to next years event and fully expect it to out do this one! very nice work kevin. best, pcb
Yes, the two 250's are two of three. The Daytona got stuck with traffic, and arrived later. I was actually walking to put my camera away when it drove in. Image Unavailable, Please Login
thank you andrew for the explanation and i hope you and the 944's are doing well? when i saw the union jack on the one 250...i suspected it may be the car jim built for himself. for those that don't know, jim rose may be one of the very best (and famous for that matter) old world fabricators in the world!!! his resume would make any true race fan weak in the knees and he was a huge part of the cobra's and gt-40's winning history... ...was jim actually there w/ lee? VERY KEWEL EVENT!!!
I'm bad with names, but yes, I believe he was. I went all over those cars, I love person built cars, and having two of them next to each other, you could see little differences here and there. I want one day to be able to build such things. I think its lost on my generation though. I would love to have a home built car reminiscent of a 1950's Lampredi long block F1 car.(Mercedes W125 wouldn't be bad either). 944 is doing well, the summer heat just baked its paint. Its too thin for me to want to remove all the oxidation it got, will need to be repainted. The good news is, this winter I should finally be able to keep it inside, so I'll paint it then.
