i remember there being an article in a magazine about that enzo. the owner had a few f-cars that he sold to make room for that one. i can't remember his name though, assuming that's the same guy.
....It's owned by Bob Rapp in Greensboro. His name was published in the magazine so it's fair game as far as privacy goes. I have known Bob for a while and is a great supporter of the Ferrari Club and is as generous with his car as can be. And while we are talking about Bobs...Bob Snow did a super fantastic job this weekend at the event! Thanks again!
I knew his name from the magazine article as well but, published or not, I was merely respecting his privacy anyway. I would hope someone would have the same respect for me.
Mr. Rapp is a helluva nice guy. This weekend was the first time I'd ever met him. I asked him if my son and I could sit in his Enzo and he was extremely gracious and didn't hesitate to say, "sure! go right ahead! but please make sure you have nothing sharp in your pockets that might damage the leather." He was so generous in allowing anyone to sit in it that wanted to, overjoyed to share the experience. His face just lit up when the younger children sat in it. A very kind man indeed.
Actually it only rained significantly on Saturday only once for a few minutes during the lunch break and it was dry on Sunday until 2PM. I actually hurt today from the sunburn on my forehead and ears! You would be surprised how many cars were on track during the rain. I was out there on a wet track several times and was amazed how much I learned. The weather was not really a negative factor.
LOL, how many rolls of 'track tape' did the guy with the 550 use? Looks like you guys had a great time.
