    Well,

today i was browsing eBay Italy in search of some Ferraris, when i saw this beauty...the engine is heavily modified, like you can see from the air intakes...

    Here there are many pictures:
    http://www.supercarfrance.com/MC-23-1.htm

She was originally registered in November 09,1998,and has only 3.000 kilomethers (about 1850 miles).

As you can see in the eBay page, one of the photo in the eBay item page is an original document (in Italian) done by Ferrari, which says the performance of the car, which is listed as F50 GT (?????):

    Max Power: 638HP @ 8600 rpm
    Max Torque: 549 NM @ 7000 rpm
    Limiter @ 9000 rpm

    Performances:
    0-100 km/h (0-62mph): 3,5 sec
    0-400 meters: 11,3 sec
    0-1000 meters: 20.4 sec
    Max Speed: 345 (!!!) km/h

Well, which is the problem? Is simple,in this document i read the odifications done, but they are too simple for me to earn so much power...for example, exhaust and cammes changed, new engine electronic management....and so on.
It's possible earn 100+ hp with such 'simple' modifications?

However, the car is a real beast..i like her so much! Look at the air intake!

Yes, it appears to be parked in front of the Fairmont (f/k/a Grand) Hotel at the hairpin in MC.

Depending on the materials used for the new internals it might be possible but I would be willing to bet by the roof scoop that it has forced induction.

JMB racing have a great experience in race modifications. They've won many races in their F-40s, 333SPs, 360 Challenges/GT3/N-GT, 550/575 GTC, 430GT2/GT3 of their own team. They know how to make a car run well.
They also have Maserati MC-12 and soon Venturi GTs in the stabble.

Try "JMB racing" in Google Image to see pics of the cars.

    Yeah,i saw some 430 GT2 pics....well,amazing!
But speaking of the Venturi GT,are you speaking about the 1994-1996 Venturi 400 GT,or the newer Heritage?

Anyway,i always loved the Venturi cars! It's a shame that they were not so appreciated...amazing cars!

The new Heritage GT. They're working with Gildo Pastor to make a great racecar of it.

PM I sent to 360C ages ago (fellow yella f50 owner):

Ermanno Claypool i see your point. The engine's already really really highly strung. I guess to get that much power you'd have to sacrifice lots of low speed tractabilty. Prob have a chugga-chugga-chugga idle :D

    Awesome though!!!

I saw and photographed exactly this car today in Modena.

Seems the car is in Italy now, or there is one more in the world.

Sorry, I can't publish my photo before I'll get the authorization by Ferrari Club Modena, so you must wait maibe some days!

i have never been a huge fan of the f50 but i think this one looks pretty mean with the yellow/black wheels. The snorkel not so much. Maybe if it was on top of the car above the windshield like some of the scoops on the JGTC cars it would be nice, the way it is now reminds me of those snorkels coming out of some of the hummer H1's imho. :)

Beastly. I'd probly keep an F50 stock, but this sure looks more intimidating. Probably sounds amazing too.
