here is the back story.. .these areses try to buy the track, are outbid, then start stirring up ****e for the track in revenge. They built this fucgly house RIGHT next to the track in hopes of having a private racetrack, and are now pissed.

The house is about 300 yards from a major highway interchange, sound isnt the issue.

They have dirt bikes, they've cut a motocross track on their property.... I wonder if they pulled the right permits to do that? I wonder if someone could bring that to the attention of the planning office, the Dept. of Fish and Game might want to take a look at the track, they may have destroyed habitat when they built the track. Thats the sort of thing that could get someone in trouble.

I cannot even begin to describe my comtempt for people who, in 2005, move in next to a RACE TRACK (established in 1966) and then complain of LOUD RACE CARS?!

I think this is absolutely stupid! What are those dumb idiots doing to us. I think the Automotive Community as a whole should help fight this issue

    Here is what I don't understand -

It's not okay to race on a track that has been around since 1966 because these neighbors say there are Kit Foxes & Tiger Salamanders that are endangered, but the STATE we live in can update a highway interchange by re-directing it and building a BRAND NEW BRIDGE less than 50 yards from the property that the track sits on. WTF!

I'm no drifting enthusiast (I kind of think it is dumb), but there's no way I could argue it isn't motorsport, and with its huge following in Japan, etc., it has gained legitimacy.

Besides all the great F1 drivers have "drifted" their cars, right?
