I noticed the brake failure light on my 308 GTB is always on. I have check the brake fluid, have replaced all of the brake fluid and even installed stainless hoses. The car stops great and does not seem to pull right or left. Brakes seem to be working fine. How does one reset the brake failure light on my 1978 308 GTB. Thanks Ben

Tony! Welcome to F-chat! I always loved your tech section in Forza magazine and found it to be a wealth of information for a new (at the time) 78 308GTS owner. I look forward to your posts here.

Dear Tonly, I am honored with your response. I have actually emailed you regarding upgrades with the 78 308 clutch bellcrank. It has worked great and now the beast is so much easier and pleasurable to drive. Question is the front belly pan the plastic piece adjacent to the spare tire or is it the rivet piece below the car? I am assuming the front belly pan is the plastic piece covering the brake master cylinder. Thanks again Tony. Aloha Ben

The cover is below the car, should be held on with 4-6 10mm bolts.

My 308GT4 had a leak from the switch on that block. Since the original was no longer available, I substituted a part from a Volvo 240. Here are pics of the original part, new one and as installed.
(The adapters on the pipes are due to a previous owner replacing the MC with one from a Dodge minivan! This is due for rectification over the next winter)

Six years later and the fix works just as well.
