    Is this the British police force's latest weapon in the war on People Driving a Bit Too Fast?

    We've just received this scooped shot of what looks very much like a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in full police livery.

    It's well known that the Italian Polizia di Stato run a couple of Gallardos on patrol duty - are the good ol' British bobbies following suit?

    And if so, wouldn't you expect something a bit more patriotic? A nice Vantage, perhaps, or maybe a Wolseley with walnut trim?

    Or maybe, just maybe, is it all part of Ferrari's 60th anniversary tour, which is heading to the UK this week? We're on the case.
