This is the same car. I have seen Labcars CGT and unless there are two identical cars in a 15minute radius in SE PA this is his car. The color, calipers, and mileage all make sense. Also his car wasn't at Don Rosen in NJ but Don Rosen Porsche in Plymouth meeting PA. Now don't jump to conclusions I am sure Les will say something if he chooses, but maybe he is testing the market or the car wasn't what he thought it would be. Who knows? Also in one pic you can see the PA tag. There is no way there are two in PA now and Don rosen is only a 15-20 min drive away.

That is car is pretty looking....

...if it cost 100k. I am sorry I would never pay that much for such a plain looking car. It's almost sad how bland and plain it appears from the front. Oh well. I guess some like it.

PS from the rear it looks rather interesting.

Oh and the interior doesn't look very nice either, but I reserve final judgement until I see it in person.

The 959 was nicer. MUCH nicer.

the problem with your observation is that its all based on looks. your not only paying for how it looks, but how it performs. Not to sound like a troll... but could it be you dont like it because theres not a ferrari badge on the hood.

Chris, not quite, as I love the 959. Dislike the enzo, and have a liking of the S7 and who doesnt love the F1. I respect the enzo's performance, as well as the CGTs, but for me to buy something I need to like every aspect of a car.

Oh and not to mention a 6.0 SE puts a smile on my face.

So get to know me better first before saying I am a "badger." :)

PS, Again, I dont dislike Porsche, I would rather a tuned 959...I mean who wouldnt?

i didnt mean to call you a badger... the cbut as far asarrera gt being to plain. i think its a much more exciting design than 959, which is largely based off the 911 platform, whereas the carrera gt is an entirely new design. even though im a huge fan of both cars. Porsche was always known for their subtle design's, with the exception of spoilers.

When is the Carrera GT hitting show rooms. If it is already out, how many are coming to the states. The local Porsche dealer here seems to have no information. I want to go to the showroom and see this thing!!! It looks awesome!

The CGT has already started hitting showrooms, and first deliveries have already taken place. There are a couple of people on this board that have one (or have one on order). Porsche has indicated that it will make 1,500 of them over three years, so you can do the math. Although allocations are not fully accounted for, the premium for "first cars" is still there -- a friend of mine who has one indicated that he has been given offers for $150K - $180K of MSRP.

    Regards.

Yeah, people are probably going to be paying premiums, but if you have that kind of money they probably don't care. This is new for porsche to have their top supercar something other than the 911, naturally aspirated, and V10! Change is good though lol!
