i concerned that that guy might be a bit incorrect with some facts. btw...i TOLD you all i'm a legend. hmmmm...should i log on and tell them my favourite F40 moment?
more reading...the guy doesn't know what he's talking about AND someone should ask him what would happen if an F40 was modded as much as his mazda *sigh*
"even have video of when Peter Pless's F40 was tested by Science program beyond 2000 on video (on the same tape I have of Ferrari's " hmmmm..i don't remember that.
out of interest i just youtubed beyond 2000 and come up with this segment on the Vector: http://youtube.com/watch?v=0AUJqy5qorw really cool too see the old intro again
Absolutely: apples with apples. An important point missed by some who argue that their modded [insert car make/model name] would 'kill' a Ferrari. Although I don't own a Ferrari (derr!), when I tell people that I want one, I often get, 'Why? Ferraris are crap... my modded yada-yada-yada will kill it...blah blah blah'. Those people lose ALL credibility with me at that point, especially when they make out like they know a thing or two about cars. IMHO, they simply talk crap.
here's the link to your drag movie... against a rotary with all the aural finesse of dragging a stick along a corrugated fence http://aussieexotics.com/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=21798
Cool, love seeing pp in drag.Just like when Colin Hymms dragged the Ford GT40 at calder in the late 60s.PP did they know what the F40 was.

i like the comment "i sold the car to germany" "halloo? zis ist deutschland callink!! ve have vanting to buy from you your autowagen!!"
and who am i to argue Background Whenever we talk about supercars, Ferrari must be the word mentioned most frequently. Supercar era was started by Ferrari 288 GTO in 1984 and evaporated by F40 three years later. To many people, F40 is still the best supercar Ferrari ever produced, eclipsing its successor F50 in many areas. Sadly, F50 is now generally regarded as one of the few failures of Maranello. Compare with its predecessor, it was heavier and slower. Its naturally aspirated V12 produced far less torque than the older twin-turbo V8. Its barchetta architecture was nonsense to a 200mph supercar. Its soft roof blew off at high speed. Its vibration and harshness caused by mounting the engine directly to carbon fiber chassis was terrible even by supercar standard. Worst of all, it was the ugliest supercar ever appeared, beside Lister Storm of course. With such a backward development, no wonder Ferrari lost its top spot in supercar chart. Admittedly, even if F50 were not so bad, it would not have clinched the title either. You already know why: in 1993, McLaren launched the mighty F1 road car
