    i read in another thread that some people had added FXX styling cues to their street enzos, perhaps this is one of them?

    I read somewhere that the FXX keep the same numbers in each race of the challenge. If true, this car #21 is indeed fitted with Enzo mirrors but is rosso scuderia, not orange (bleh).
    Bad photoshop to me....

    The side mirrors are real, but the car is actually Rosso Corsa. It is s/n 146362, Michael Bareither's car out of Germany.

    The car has an orange sticker.It is still rosso corsa but for this week end , it was covered with this orange sticker...

    No photoshop.

    so it looks like FXXs were not outfitted with xenon HID lights, unlike the enzo? what could the reasons be for this?

    -perhaps as a weight-saving measure since no ballast is needed..
    -car is not road legal, so no need for powerful headlights anyway (though one could argue that lighting is even more important for certain tracks)
    -HID lights might be blinding to the cars racing in front of you; safety issue
    -cost saving measure (yeah right)

    weight saving definitly, also maybe it has something to do with design, the lights are very small so maybe they were never designed to house Xenons.

    Looks like the Rosso Dino I saw on an Enzo at the Concorso Italiano a few years ago.
