    I went as a spectator.

Kevin had his 360CS and it really is the mutt's nutts! Seriously gorgeous sounding car; its just perfect in every way.

Few guys with 360Modenas... Bebessen and Rviant. Went in Bebessen's up to 171mph :)

NinjaEli and another chap in 360Spyders

Few guys in 355s who were obviously decatted and tubi'd so were very loud, although apparantly there was a complaint about the noise and could land the organisers into trouble.... they were also wheelspinning off the line and had some VERY close calls which would have been expensive.

Murcielago, Diablo, RUF TurboR (Adam drove me to 207mph... top speed reached was 211mph GPS verified... laser was mis-reading above 200mph), Brabus SL V12, etc etc

    Great day :)

I went in the TVR, was an excellent day, got 160 on the laser board.

Went in three 911 TT's including the RUF, awesome.

The CS looked and sounded great.

    Best Regards

    MOD.

yep, was a great fun day., 4 360's, the stradale, the 348GTS and one very special 360 spider along with the usual porkers, tvr's, nobles and lambos.

I did have to calm the 355 boys down a little though :D

200mph verified top speed, I'm checking my records but I think the fastest 360 was 179mph.

I'll be doing another late may/jun, will keep you informed. Cheers guys.

Excellent day so credit must go to Craig for the organising. Plenty of exotica to drool over, especially the 360CS.

I'm not surprised one of the 355s killed a clutch - serious wheelpsin off the line every time!!

    Roll on the next one...

    Mark.

IT WOULD BE INTERESTING TO KNOW WHAT THE BMW WOULD DO IF THEY HAD NOT HAD A LIMITER AT 155 MPH.
ACCORDING TO TOP GEAR LAST THE TVR CERBRA WAS THE FASTER ON THROUGH A 1/4 MILE STRAIGHT THEN A 911 TURBO..

In answer to some of the questions..

Kenyon, the 348 was a GTS with no cats & sports exhaust and filter (my old car in fact) and I know it could have gone quicker in the afternoon except he got a puncture. i did 169 in it last time & I know it was very close to 355 performance.

The csl was still being run in I think. The other beemers were derestricted.

I did a circuit with the 348 on Sunday. Off the line up to the first corner we were even, onto the straight I got in front with the big slug of torque in 3rd, kept in front all the way until I neared 160 where the chim really slows up, and the 348 pipped me at the post!

The driver and passenger were nice chaps, it was a shame they got a puncture half way into the day. Did they manage to get home, or did they have to be recovered?

The RUF is totally amazing; the rate it accelerates is awesome, it just keeps going and going and going! Mike sat at 175, then gunned it, in a matter of seconds we were doing 190, and shortly after the digital speedo was reading 202mph! The brakes and flat handling were awesome too.

    Roll on next v-max!

    MOD.

Sorry for the large amounts of !'s in the above post!

the chaps in the 348 were fine. Having sold him the car I felt (for some unknown reason) responsible for it? weird isnt it!?

It is indeed a fast 348, I got to 169 there in it at VMAXII and I'm sure Will the new owner could have beaten that this time, nice to see it again. Roll on VMAX V !
