    Guys,

My brakes are weak and I want to have my brake booster rebuilt. How do I get it off? I have gotten the 3 bolts on the rear of the booster off, cannot get to the 4th bolt! What needs to be removed to get to the 4th bolt? I am assuming that there is a 4th bolt...but can't see it. 3 are off but the booster is not loose!

Thanks for your kind response about my test pipe instead of my cats from my prevcious thread.

IIRC, the 4th one is inside the passenger cabin on the bulkhead near the pedal hinges (and I'm having a vague flashback about making, or using, a cut-off wrench -- and, of course, contorsion ;))

You can see the 4 holes in the mounting flange in this jpeg (the lower left one as viewed in this jpeg is the one inside the passenger cabin):

Weak brakes on your TR my be caused by a bad check valve in the vacuum line going to the manifold that is not allowing full vacuum to the brake booster. Just a thought.
