Hi all, it's been a while since I have had a chance to post and visit. Hope all of you are doing fine. I wanted to invite all of you to a fund raising event for the Children's Make A Wish Foundation, a non profit organization dedicated to granting wishes for very sick children. The event will be held on July 30th, and we are expecting between 10 to 15 Ferraris to show. Would love it if you could come and join in the festivities. There'll be lots of silent auctions, barbecue, drinks, etc, with all net proceeds going to the charity. Bring your Ferraris, let's really show our support for this wonderful cause. I will have more details shortly, including all the silent auctions, webpage, and how you can help. Everyone who shows up with their Ferraris will receive a special neon Ferrari sign. Hi Vasco, how are you? I have been really busy with some new business ventures and have literally not been around. Thanks for your interest. Basically, members of the Ferrari club are very graciously agreeing to bring their cars to draw visitors, fans of beautiful cars, together on July 30th, Sunday. The more cars we can get together, the more funds we can raise for the brave kids and help make their dreams come true. We'll be raising funds through the following: 1. Donations 2. Silent auctions 3. Food and drink sales 4. Selling pictures of fans standing with approved cars 5. Selling rides in approved cars and more. We need as many Ferari fans to bring their cars as possible. My cars will be available for rides. I am hoping more Fchat members will consider this as well. We hope to raise $10,000 for the event, and are well on our way, which is amazing. All proceeds will go to making the wishes come true. Why you should come, bring your car, or at least bring yourself, friends and family: 1. Let's show our support for worthy causes. Give back to our community a little of the wonderful blessings we have enjoyed. 2. Have a great time meeting other Fchat members and Ferrari owners. 3. Bid on one or more of the auctions. You will probably win as the reserves are very very low! 4. We'll need help with the barbecue, describing the cars to the general public etc. Any and all volunteer help will be appreciated. There will be police directing traffic, some track-only Ferraris, but we need all the cars we can get. I'll buy everyone a Coke or a Hot Dog if you show up! Just look for me! Thanks for the support! Looks like we'll have a great time. One side benefit...we'll have the Super Speedway DVD playing on the big screen, with the world class DBox motion simulation system playing. This system is used by many of the top movie studios. When watching a movie, you not only hear the effects, you experience them! In the Super Speedway DVD, Mario is racing Michael Andretti, and you can actually feel the road grooves as the tires cross over them! Unbelievable!

We will sell tickets to the general public for the rides, and all the money goes to the kids. Tickets will also be sold for food, drinks, and there will be silent auctions for all kinds of amazing prizes donated by very generous suppliers. We need all the support we can get. Adrian, I know that if you recieve something for your donation there is no tax receipt issued but will there be a tax receipt issued for out right donations?
