Amazing he only had a cut lip. If there had been a passenger it would be a very different outcome.

My God, How did he survive that, it reminds me of those two in the 355 that crashed on the Gumball about 5 years ago leaving the road at something like 140mph and walked away with a few cuts and bruises

Quite a few cars crashed during the 2004 rally.

    A 355 crashed during the 2001 rally.

I witnessed a 360 crash at 100+ in the fall of 2004. The driver and passenger walked away. Passenger had a slighly bloody nose; driver was unharmed. The tree (100 year old) is still standing.

So that's what they mean about Spiders having body flex! It's the John Kerry special edition 360.

Keep this up and it won't be long before Ferraris get a reputation for demolishing the countryside...

    "Look! A Ferrari!"

    "Take cover!"

I'm trying to find the pix on my PC. I have refrained from posting them for over a year, because I detest that site "wrecked exotics" and didn't want them stolen for that crap-rag of a website.

I'll find 'em here... hang tight.

So I'm listening to iTunes and no sooner does that video start playing when Dokken "You just got lucky" starts playing. LOL

If it is indeed true, as we have seen in the past it very well could be. It is a testament to the safety built into these vehicles with the knowledge that someday it might be needed. More than just good looks and high horsepower, true road going racecars indeed. As always, I do hope that they were able to walk away unscathed!
One way or another my bet is they will be a little sore for the next couple of days....weeks.....

I thought the only Swedes with Ferraris were hockey players and cell phone executives. :D

The video wasn't working for me, but I could tell it looks bad from the Swedish word that it was skrot. You just know that when something is skrot it just ain't pretty!

I would bet money on BMWs/Audis/Mercedes/Porsches being safer than any Italian exotics, excluding those made of carbon fibre, although I don't think they possess any safety advantage over conventional materials when it comes to hitting 'street' objects like poles, trees, etc.

Hehe, "Skrot" means "Junk" so that's very accurate :)
