ya those cars definately arent his. there is a man in ct who has that exact collection including the ONLY yellow enzo in ct that lives a few minutes away from 50. if you notice the small white numbers in the top left hand corner of the windshields on the F50 and Enzo, those are the numbers that the cars were in the hartford concourso parade. and whoever said sc is correct, and JasonT does know him as they show up to many shows together. I wonder how much 50 spent to rent those for the day, and why he would say they were his when they arent?

Street cred? Wouldn't be surprised if MTV footed the bill for the rental(s) and leaked that clip to get some publicity around the upcoming episode / season. They probably put it on YouTube with the embed codes available hoping that it'd be smeared throughout the internet. You can't force a video to go 'viral', but you can certainly assist it.

Check out the users profile- all MTV clips. Look up fanscape; "Big Reach. Smart Marketing." Pretty transparent.

What? Is it not possible for a black man to own nice cars? :P

The guy is actually a pretty big car nut. In his music he talks about his F50 pretty frequently. There's no reason to believe the man couldn't have one.

As someone said before he's a pretty smart fellow. I wouldn't underestimate him.

No one ever said that- and that's AWFUL for you to infer that I believe that.

I know those cars. I know the owner of those cars. I've worked with 50 Cent. I was with him 2 weeks ago. He doesn't own those cars. He does own some cool cars. Those aren't them.

I must say I have heard about MTV Cribs and their rental(s).

I am certainly with Kenny on this one.

If you watch Cribs, more than half the time the star who is touring whichever home does not even know what they are talking about.

Remember people, this is show business; image is more important than anything else.

The Ferrari's are unfortunately not his. He invited my friend over to his house for this and my friend let him use his cars for the episode and they were filming some music videos that day as well. The Enzo, F50, and 599 all belong to one owner which you can see pictures of his garage at www.jtphotos.net Click on Hartford Concorso 2007 and scroll the the bottom. Notice the number on the F50 windshield in the video....its on the F50 in my pics to. Also the F40 belongs to another friend with a pretty cool collection to.

I can tell you that 50 Cent has made numerous attempts at buying my friends yellow Enzo. My friend will never sell the car though. 50 Cent is in the process of looking for the right Enzo to buy.

Agreed...With his earnings of $33 million last year from his music endeavors and an additional $100 million he just made from the sale of Vitamin Water to Coca Cola a couple of months ago (he owned a nice stake in the company), he's not doing too shabby...

That guy is loaded. If he wanted an F40-50, he'd have it. He certainly bought the right cars and has had the sense to leave them stock. Beautiful collection.

My Garage
I do agree that he is a savy business man. He certainly has made some good decisions financially. However, it struck me as odd when after he talked about the Enzo, he pauses before moving onto the 599 almost as if he forgot the name of the car. I think he said something like, "After the Enzo, the you got the... you got this..."
Anyone else catch this?

I guess you didn't read the whole thread. They aren't his cars.

I remember seeing him on the news last year when he got arrested(?) for driving his Murci without tags in NYC - a few minutes after Unique Autosport dropped it off to him...

Are you sure Joe, because according to Jason the F40 isn't part of this "set". It's from another owner.
