What? Exotic Car Nights #8 - Usually one of the more popular of our local Ferrari Club events. it's a combination informal no awards car show, social happy hour, food (usually free pasta bar, but they have an appetizer menu too), dancing, music, and other good times. Our seats are in that perimeter room with the bar and the patio will be heated as we overlook our cars in front.

    When? December 4th, 2004 6pm

    Where? Carsons Live http://www.carsonslive.com/Map.html

From informally talking to everyone, I think this one will be a popular turn out even considering the busy month for people.

Would anyone be interested in the Flight museum at Addison airport beforehand? It's open to 5pm. We can meet there at 3, then afterwards hang out in that Steakhouse bar next to Carsons until it opens at 6 or maybe go visit BFMoD.

Sigh....I'll try to make if I can but I doubt it. My car started making this ungodly sound on the way home from work today, looks like I'm going to have to come up with cash fast. The #2 clyinder is knocking like hell, I was told I could get a used motor (GREENLEAF or HONDA HEAVEN) installed for $2600+ with Warranty. The problem is the guys at HONDAMOTIVE/DEALER ALTURNATIVE in FT Worth know I track my car so no guarantee on the engine. Also, I'm not a big fan of used motors. I'd rather build it up the right way in a couple of months where it would be a great track engine MSR, TWS, TMS, SCCA events etc.... I'm in need of buying a cheap BEATER car for work ASAP! Point A to Point B car, I could really care less about AC or radio as long as it gets me to work & starts. Until I can save some more green to build the new integra motor how I want, this maybe my only option so sacrifices will be made.

Gee guys, we have the MAFFIA Car Club party the SAME night.

We moved our party last year so we could do the Carson's night, but by popular demand have moved it back to the first Saturday in December, December 4 (6:30 PM to Midnight).

Go to www.webwolvez.com and see what we're having - you're welcome to come over after visiting at Carsons.

Yes, I know. It's a problem, but the ECN has been on the schedule since early this year. Hopefully I can make both

Early?!? The MAFFIA Annual Holiday Party was scheduled last JANUARY and posted in FEBRUARY. However, we didn't send out invites until about a month before the event.

So the events were posted all year long on each site. Like I said, we moved it last year, but popular demand calls for it to be the First Saturday in December.

Anyhow, it is possible to do BOTH! Yay!

At this point I'm hoping to do EITHER. A 'campout' for each kid that weekend, who the hell camps out in December?

I hope some can do both too.

Our 2004 schedule was posted and emailed to everyone (including you) January 5th. Looks like you scheduled on top of us. Here's the email I sent 1/5/2004....

Happy New Year all local DFW Ferrari enthusiasts!

Here’s the tentative 2004 Calendar. I will send monthly updates with the exact information as the time comes. All Ferrari enthusiasts are welcome to our non-driving events, FCA membership or not. I do recommend an FCA membership so you can receive the quarterly ‘Prancing Horse’ periodical, the monthly newsletter, support our chapter, participate in our rallies, and also participate in the regional and national events. You can obtain a membership at https://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/pages/join.cfm.

We still have a few events in the works that aren’t on the calendar yet. Please let me know if you have an interest in organizing or assisting with a local show or rally. Calendar and pics from past events can be found at http://www.fcadfw.com.

We have a tour scheduled starting at 3pm for the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. They're confirming that we can get a tour guide. The cost will be $6 and they said 2 hours will be plenty of time for a thorough look.

Wish I could make it, but I already have hotel reservations for the company Christmas party the same day and time. Wish I could make it though...I have been wanting to see the museum too.

Hope everyone has a ton of fun regardless.

2 hours at the museum may be too much, it's not that big. I won't make the museum, but should make Carsons.
