Here is the old carpet and center console. You can also see the old Alpine CD player - 1997 year - For sale by the way.

Notice the broken map door pouch on driver's door :

Old top piece and side deck liner - Note the hole in the side deck liner piece - Prior owner had speakers here - I used metal tape before re-covering in leather. Also, I used a small bit of foam on the top of all pieces under the leather to give it a nice cushy feel. :)

The bottom piece in this picture was definitely the hardest to finish in leather - It was so big with lots of curves.

After finally getting the inside put back together, I just had to give the car it's first wash (unfortunately it was at night!) :

Hoped you all liked the pics! This project helped me learn much about my first F-Car! Was at times frustrating, but ultimately rewarding for an accountant with no prior experience doing anything! Finally, here is a pic at Crystal Cove this past weekend with my 3X8 bretheran :

    Thank you!

The total prject took about a month. The longest part was the re-dyeing of the seats - Stripping the old dye off takes a bit of time, and then you need to apply the oil, wait a few days, then apply the pristine clean, etc. To do just the dye part properly takes a few weeks. A great article is posted here :
