Let the Non Subscribers have an avatar.
You too could have an avatar, and a whole range of other wonderful FerrariChat benefits, for only a mere 4.1 cents a day! All the best, Andrew.
Two posts above yours. Pay and the avatar will be available. It's the way he put it, ya know, the 4.1 cents per day. Or however cheap it is.
On another car forum I've frequented, the "thanks" button just becomes a popularity contest or a game to see who can get the most superfluous thanks... a bit like a high post count, a high "thanks" count is worn like a badge and it becomes meaningless for identifying helpful posts. It'll be like the "free posts" but more widespread, so for that reason I oppose its introduction. All the best, Andrew.
Hi ya, I've just run a search on keywords "how to post images" which returned nothing of use :-( Similarly I can find no "Help" hyperlink that might given tips and tricks on how to post images. Am I missing something here? I'm fairly certain this must have been addressed before. Perhaps a suggestion to have "sticky" threads for these common questions. So an open question on how I post an image in a thread. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Bob
In the Sponsors Forum I think we need a sub-forum titled "The Odd Couple" where Joe and Roy can discuss their disagreements in a public manner without derailing threads such as this one, http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=360255. Any thread that does get derailed should get moved to this sub-forum as well. I also recommend that it have a sticky explaining the reason for and intent of the sub-forum. Above is not in jest. TIA
Same can be said of the wife and me but that doesn't mean we still don't need a padded room once in awhile.
Don't know if it's been mentioned here yet (I don't want to read through 1700+ posts) but what about a member's rides section. Members can show off their cars and detail it's service history, problems, fixes, mods, etc. When they sell the car the new owner can take over the thread from there.
Haven't heard that before. Nearest thing is the Rossa "Garage" or you can do a Blog. Besides that for 99% of things just starting a thread is best.
