    Just a heads up re the British Motoring Club of NO's annual British car show. It's on Saturday, March 24 from noon to 3pm at Delgado Community College. Word is that at least one of the new McLaren road cars will be there.

    I will definitely be there. May or may not be in a Ferrari hat. :)

    I met you years ago at Br CD. You were (like me) a Lotus fan ... swore your favorite was the FWD Elan, if I recall. Is that your McL? If so,congrats!

    David Sorry I did not remember the name. Yes I still have the M100 (FWD) Lotus, along with 5 other Loti. The wait on the Mack was quite long (24 Months) but well worth it. Much has been written on the car and its features. Hope to see you at British car day. Mike

    Ha! Yes Steve, I'm going to be there with the 62 MGB. I was asked by the club to use my car as a showcase piece for the 50th anniversary of the MGB.

    And Mike, look forward to meeting you as well and seeing that Mac in person!

    And I'll wear my Ferrari hat. ;) Probably have the 360 in the parking lot too. I'll put Lucas stickers on it so it should get a pass. ;)

    I'll try and get my dad to bring his Austin Healey this year. He says he's going to every year and never does.

    Mike, all you need now would be a Lotus 11 Lemans series two wide body with the Coventry Climax screaming along @ 7,100 rpm. I saw my old Lotus racing this past August @ Laguna Seca.

    If anyone sees my ex TR8 please take a picture and say hi to the current owner. After owning the car for about 24 years I sold her back in 2005 or 06 to a guy who lives in Bay St. Louis.

    Weather looks great for tomorrow. :)

    That said, I suspect the grounds are soaked and probably not a good idea for the cars or the grass to use as a display area.

    Yes it was... and I have a lot of history with that car, took it to the Netherlands with me on a three year U.S. Air Force assignment as well back in the mid 80s.
