    Ernie and I are going to get together 1/15/10 for lunch, lies and K1 speed. Might go by and see Dan's (int. dream cars) new place. Time for roll call otherwise Ernie and I will be telling bigger lies about how fast we are at K1.

    We are in Torrance about 2hrs (aka fun ferrari ride) north of you. If eric gets this you'll have another 348 buddy to drive up with.

    K1 speed is Boris Said's kart racing facility. They run consumer electric indoor karts. All you do is show up and they have everything. I think the promo is 3 races $50bucks but you can do less races. It is just fun racing and the karts are faster than you think and run much better than the dromo1 karts. They have a very nice ferrari friendly parking lot (aka no door dings).

    What time are we meeting, and where? Are we eating before or after karting? I'm fat enough, so I wouldn't mind working up an appetite - as opposed to cramming Big Macs in my pie hole until the kart under me doesn't have enough power to even move. :)

    Darth, call me, let me know what's what. I don't need ample notification, but enough to get to your house; and then the karting place is still another 20 minutes south of you (without traffic).

    I dunno. Maybe we should eat after karting??? We'll have to make sure the fatman is fed cause he gets cranky if he hasn't eaten.

    I think we should meet up near the K1 place. Speaking of, we are going to the one in Anaheim, no? Or is there one closer to south bay?

    We are meeting at K1 in Torrance at 11:30am, that way we can work up an appetite. After K1 we are gonna be filling our pie holes at BJ's Brewery.

    So how'd it go? I'm back from wine tasting - too classy for the likes of you clowns :p Weather was nice, too bad I had the bimmer instead of the 348. With my luck I would have gotten pulled over after a few tastings in that thing. With an old bimmer, no one looks at you. :)

    Well it was only the fatbillybob and I. We did to 14 lap races and I was faster than him by a full second. But it really wasn't fair as I had a weight advantage over his behemoth. However he was producing more down force than I was. :D We were gonna do one more 14 lapper but he was starting to get cranky (he missed feeding time at the zoo :p), so we called it a day and went to eat at a mexican food place. It SUCKED! Other than that it was fun.

    So we are gonna have to do this again. I still have one more race on my track card, and I think fatboy has a couple on his also (?). How about we shoot for a month from now for the next round? Maybe that way we can get the rest of you suck-a-ducks on the track.

    Yeah it was fun. Despite the high amount of aerodynamic drag from the size of ernie's huge head he beat my a$$ handily. I did get past him once and held him up for a couple of laps and had one good control of a corner where I guided him right into the wall. I was LMAO! Ernie was faster but I am more dangerous. He did not know to hang back just a little bit and PIT me before the turn. He did get around me and once he did he just sped off in the distance. We should try and get you clowns in on the fun next month. If we get 8 people we can have a GP race with staggered start all to ourselves. Ernie needs to pick the day because of his work schedule. $60 bucks you get 1 practice, 1 qualifying race for grid position, and one race. All you do is show up and it is way more fun with people you know.
