For what its worth, i had the clutch changed on my TR back in 2001 at 41,000Kms...it went in for a full service almost 22 months ago at 58,000 kms and it was more than 50%...i have just turned 60,000km so i figure im half way through....im pretty suprised at 20,000kms with the same clutch still...but from your posts, i probably dont give my car a good enough workout I will keep that in mind next summer and make sure she runs a marathon
Thanks for sharing your experience

I do drive pretty hard, but I never "abuse" the clutch. The worn clutch in my Boxer has been through a few track events at Road Atlanta, a Ferrari French Quarter Classic track event at the No Problem Racetrack and numerous spirited drives in the North Georgia mountains along with a lot of stop and go driving in Atlanta traffic which is probably worse than the track events. My wife has drove it on several occasions too. Why it went out at 17k klms is a mystery to me. Maybe this AP Racing clutch will last longer?
