612 radio

My 2006 612 has a factory Bekker with a primitive Nav and Bluetooth, etc. There is also a large "dead space" for storing the CD's in the front console. Has anyone upgraded to either the new Bose which comes with the new 612 or an all inclusive unit which has Nav, Bluetooth, IPod, rear camera, etc. ? Which model audio system worked well in the 612? Also does anyone has a shop around Miami which did the installation?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Ferrari of BH had a Alpine system put in my 612 - looks great and sounds even better!
It also has a laser radar that works thru the factory rear view mirror. It also has a little silent button to depress when the radar sound gets obnoxious. I would suggest you call them and ask who they used. Basically you cant tell other than the face of the radio.

As the pioneer unit in the pics is the of the avic-z1 /z2 /z3 series their new series is the z-110bt and the other brand we use a lot is the kenwood excellon dnx-9140. Hopefully you can find a competent installation facility in Miami... Not only do we have the experience we have passion for the mark!

I would get the whole car wired - camera / radar / amp / silencer / even may want to put a switch in to open the exhaust at lower rpms.

The kenwood has a cool feature that allows you to control any 2 external devices through the touch screen....like the exhaust...You can also do a front camera if you want.

Wow - very cool!

I now suggest one more thing - send your car to La Jolla
