I met the widow of Joao Rezende Dos Santos who was the first owner in Venezuela, just a few days ago and got some pictures and racing results of the car.

Thanks Marcel. Either remove it or credit it This is starting to happen a lot here. Other forums have got into deep trouble over copyright and it would be a shame to spoil such an interesting thread as this. If in doubt DONT POST.

At Imola 1955, the Gran Premio Shell on the 19th of June that is, a car with this racing number is not found in the entry list. The only 5 Ferrari entrants were Mondials which had the racingnumbers 56 (Taruffi), 58 (Maglioli), 60 (Shell), 64 (Taramazzo) and 66 (Munaron).

Must be Imola. The list you give shows the 18 starters. Not all the entrants.
As we have no numbers 50, 52 and 54, that matchs with the pic number 54...

But I thinks the car should be it (or for some 0404MD).

You know the year of this accident, it's Scuderia Centro Sud's Ferrari 500 TRC (s/n 0696MDTR).

Any ideas on this '212 Spider Vignale' from Portugal. Photo by António Cândido Taboada?
