Well so far so good. There was not much in the box when i got the model, and the instructions were laughable. Not even a clue as to what to do. So i had to study the VERY few pictures of this rare car. The car is the 1970 No11 Posey/Bucknum Team NART 512s (chassis number 1014 i believe). From the study of this car there seems to have been on going Ario dynamic modifications to the body as the 1970 race season progressed.
This 1/12 model represents the car as it started at the Le mans. The body work is almost done now, with a few more bits of detail to add like the rubber catches that hold down the engine lid. I fabricated 4 tiny brackets to hold the rubber catch. One of the hardest things to do was to blend in the rear lip spoiler, but it was worth the effort i think.
The dash has been covered with scale material and the inter-ea is on going using again scale alloy sheets. To date 550 rivets have been hand drilled and placed in both body and interea. I am currently undergoing the engine and bay which is going to be challenging due to me not being able to find and pictures of the No11 car. So the journey continues.

I feel your pain. That's par for the course with these kinds of kits. Studying old photographs is the way to go.

Almost complete:) Just some minor detail to go but all in all no great challenge i am pleased to say:) Well apart from the lack of parts and build sheet:( There is also a picture of the very silly build sheet they give with this 1/12 model:( So all work was done from studying pictures and photos from the Internet. The finished model is 16in long and 6/12 wide. I do hope you like the end product of NART No11:)
Looking forward to building the 312PB next.
