i agree with peter (for once), that car is a shocker. Especially those wheels.

 

What is wrong with Fram filter? Why are they bad news?

 

There's loads of info on here about that, so a search will keep you busy for hours.

But basically, they starve the engine of oil pressure when it needs it most... at start up and also at high rpm. The stand pipe/one way valve and flow characteristics are inadequate or missing (depending on exact FRAM filter used).

They're not even the right shade of Orange.
