    Christmas came a few days early to us! Picked up my new '05 360 Spider today from FoS! A couple pictures attached. The color looks funky for some reason (even ran through PS one pass), but you get the idea. Didn't post too many pictures because you've seen a few of this type before. :)

    The biggest surprise, which I didn't get until I was signing paperwork, was that my Spider was a 2005, not a 2004! The original slot was for what was probably the last 2004 Spider out of Italy. I was a little bit boo boo in that only a few days would separate my 2004 from the 2005s.

    Anyway, my FoS candy man saw that the car magically turned into a 2005, but didn't tell me until my wife noticed the paperwork said 2005! I was oblivious - busy signing. I looked at the 2005 designation, looked at my dealer, and saw this great big grin watching me as it dawned on me what had happened. Talk about a happy ending! I was blown away with excitement, not only on picking up my Spider, but finding out it was a 2005!

    The rest of the story goes that we, here in Seattle, had a clear blue sky with almost record high temperatures! Needless to say, the top stayed down and I took the "very long" way home. Of course, my first "stop" was the I90 tunnels to hear the Capristo! I laughed like a kid. :)

    P.S. Specs:
    * Corsa Red, black
    * Double red stitching
    * Manual (my Modena was F1 - I'll give an update later!)

    * Shields
    * Modular wheels
    * Leather rear shelf and door mouldings (with metal kickplate)

    * And: my Tubi carbon fiber air boxes and Capristo from my Modena!

    Congratulations on the car Tim!!!

    It looked great, and sounded like a monster when Roberto was pulling it into the showroom. I must say, I like the sound better than the Tubis. Didn’t seem to have the low RPM resonance so common with the Tubi systems.

    The interior is really nice, too. I thought the red stitching worked out very well. I don’t typically like different color stitching, but your choice worked out well.

    Sorry we couldn’t hang around longer to see you off, but had to hit the highways for parts south. Hopefully will see/hear you out on the road on a drive soon.

    Congrats and enjoy every mile. BTW great color (ext) and awsome interior.The double red stiching is great looking. The modular wheels really set off the car. I'm glad the weather cooperated with top down driving.

    Congrats Tim! I know it's been irritating being minus an F-Car while you've been waiting for it to arrive; but I'm sure it was worth the wait. It looks fantastic in the photos. I look forward to seeing it in person.

    What a perfect day to take delivery of it!

    What a great color. Is it the same as the racing red F1 cars use (I've forgotten the color name)?
