Official F430 Pics

Somebody on Rennteam said that it operates the electronic differential that had been talked about. No more info at the moment. Apparently the waitlist at my local F dealer (UK) is 3 years. Once these pics are out, I guess that will get a lot longer!

 

Well, lets say I am relieved. Still not to happy about the front, but all in all it looks better then it did on the spypics and it definatily is an improvement over the 360.

 

WOW I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT. When I seen the first shot of the 360 I was like bah till I seen how really wide it is in real life and how big it really looks I changed my mind. This one will definently be a winner.

 

awesome! Engine start button on the steering wheel is a great touch. Are they really putting F430 on the side mirrors? That gets a thumbs down. Otherwise, check plus. I can't wait.

 

Definitely two thumbs up. It builds on the classy looks of the 360 and combines elements from the CS, Enzo. I really like what I see.

 

Well it is a progression of that car.
It went like this.

New platform, 308 to 328.
New platform, 348 to F355.
New platform, 360 to F430.

That is how Ferrari always does it, although this
upgrade was a very extensive one, and it looks GREAT!!!!

 

Those wheels look like 19 inch there absolutely stunning. Does anybody know which autoshow the F430 will debut at. The Paris one is just around the corner in September.

The exterior looks "busy" compared to the 360's clean design.

I hope they get rid of the aluminum colored bits in the interior - that's one thing I don't care for in the 360.

The rear looks better than in the Mexico spy pic -- either it's been changed slightly or that pic was just taken from an unflattering angle.

I like it. A lot more than the 360.

 

911Fan - they are "aluminum colored" because they are, in fact, aluminum.

One thing of note: It was rumored to redline at 9,000 rpm. It looks like the redline is actually 8,500.

 

Most guys have an addiction to normal things... like porn. Oh no... not me. I have an addiction to Ferrari pictures. Today, I added up the total number that I have in my Ferrari pictures' folder, and it accumulates to well over 1000. All in all, please make fun of me, considering I have no life.

I agree with your comments completely. Putting F430 on the mirrors looks wrong to me too. Other than that, I love it. The interior looks great. I wonder if the start button will get in the way when you are steering hard. Also wonder what happens if you press the start button once the car is already started. Not a big concern though.

 

impressive... most impressive....

alot better than i was expecting/fearing...

best angle: rear 3/4 view... the enzo-esque treatment really works well.

not-so-good: front air intakes, better than they were though so they're heading in the right direction... the centre opening looks a little not-thought-out...

most missed detail: that WONDERFUL conical air-intake on the rear haunches that ended in the door handle... harkened back to the 250LM and the 328/328 series... beautiful... that new comma-shaped thing hopefully will look better at a diffent angles... can't wait to see a side-elevation.

not necessary: F430 on the mirrors... if badging IS necessary surely there is room for it somewhere on the rear fascia...

All in all: beautiful!! Cant wait to see it.

The front is nice and so as for the wheels. I like the idea of putting F430 on the mirrors. I like the rear end but I still find the Ferrari Enzo styling should stay unique.

 

So april 05 deliveries for LHD countries only or RHD as well? Anyone know?

 

Yes, but those aluminum parts are all painted that aluminum color. So they end up clashing with several interior color choices, IMO. I would have been happier with black anodize.

I'm looking forward to seeing more interior pics to see what other changes the designers made.

 

YES! YEEES!!! Eat up the pictures my fellow Ferrari owners *rubs hands together* Yes...line up and pre-order. Get rid of your 360's, your CS's...flood the market with them....yes....sell them to young budding Entreprenuers like me for un-heard of low prices.....yeeesssss......

 

I don't like the "F430" on the mirrors and I think they shouldn't have copied the Enzo- they should have done something unique for each model. But it does look pretty good.

Somehow I feel like there is going to be controversy over the styling.

 

On first blush it's too busy looking for my taste, but I'll give it some time to sink in.

 

I'm very sure real pictures will make it's look really come through (OH MAN computer rendering is incredible these days!!!) and in person even better, but I still don't like the front bumper. Those intakes just look too odd.
