HW, I do have an order in for a Stradale that is supposed to be here in time for the FFQC. I told the sales manager at FOH to spec the car to look as close to this as possible. Never - not even once - have i EVER asked an owner to drive or even ride in their car... Never... i would hate to put someone in that position and to be put in an awkward position like that if i, myself, were an owner; with that said, i've had MANY rides in MANY cars and i've even driven a bunch, too... All of my rides and drives have been offered (except for 1 third party prearrangement)...
What was even cooler was getting an escort by some of Louisana's finest. Of course, no traffic laws were broken or animals harmed on this run.

Well... good for you. I however am considering having a T-shirt done up that says in giant letters on the front: PULEEEEEZE GIVE ME A RIDE! Anyone who wants to say NO, I wont take it personally... BTW, anyone who is interested in a ride in the Daytona is of coarse welcome. I know in this company it will be pretty mundane, but it does sound neat. Terry

Hey, wait a mintue, I bigger than all you guys put together. I made sure Roland got his tires to the track last year. So, I think that I need to be the one first in line for a ride. I always seem to miss the "good" events by a week or so. Gumball 3000, missed it passing through New Orleans by two days, last years French Quarter Classic was missed by about two weeks. But thanks to Fchat I was able to make it to No Problem raceway back in April and will that day ever stick in my mind forever. I met a few people that I belive post on this board and everyone was super nice and didn't make me feel like i was a drooling fool taking numerous pics of the cars on hand. I'm about to reserch how to post some of these pics. Anyway, can't wait to follow this years FQC, I can't believe such a great event is so close to home, I love south Louisiana, you nevere ever know whats going to happen around here. Anyway, everyone have fun and safe trips on your way to the bayou, can't wait to see the parades. Josh O.
This year the escorts are going to look (and sound) like a LeMans reunion(with cars rancing from 1962 to 1991) on the public roads of our former French Colony! Several former LeMans drivers will be there two! So, we will be giving a new mean to the word "French" in this years French Quarter Classic!

Roland, I had the privelage of being Dale's passenger on the way to the track in his 550. I took the picture of your car rolling through the fog heading down the highway. My intention was to catch the flames shooting out the exhaust pipes. Trust me it was plenty loud.....every rime I watch the DVD it seems like I am back at the event. Your car rules!!!

Ok, I'm very late to this party.........Now I'm trying to see about checking this out. Is anyone going from DC that is transporting their Fcar? I might be interested if I could get the car there somehow.... Also, This hotel is a Leading, that's good... what other hotels are people staying at? Any Four Seasons or Ritz Carltons? Thanks
