I just found out the 6.0 was avaliable in fly yellow AND pearl yellow can someone please post/send pics of the two so I can see how they contrast each other?? Whats the main difference in the colors?? Which is brighter?
The "fly yellow" is a flat, bright yellow. The pearl yellow (Giallo Orion, I believe) is as you said, a pearl, with a slight goldish tinge to it. Sorry, I don't have pics.
I just did a search on google image. These look to be the two different yellows, though it could just be different lighting, camereas. etc and me not knowing what the hell I am talking about. I would assume fly is the top. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The two colors were "Giallo Evros" (flat) and "Giallo Orion Micalizzato" (pearlescent). I believe both colors are also avilable on the Murcielago, so you might be able to find photos on the factory Web site.
thanks, so far this is helping is Giallo Halys like the fly yellow/flat yellow/Giallo Evros and is Giallo Midas like the pearl/Giallo Orion I ask cause I cant tell alot from pics and im partcially color blind so the small differences sometime can be hard to tell for me. also I have a Spa Yellow Pearl NSX and love it!! but from looking at pics of the flat/fly yellow/ Giallo Halys I like them alot more due to the brightness, the pearl/ Giallo Midas looks a lil more dull, which doesnt seem right since its "pearl". This is also assuming the Halys is very similar/same as Evros and Midas is similar/same as Orion. Plus, the "pearl" on my NSX is like lil metalic flakes that really bring out the brightness that the Lambos peral seems to lack in pics, but that might just be Lambos thing, cause their red (Murci) is very orangeish too. All this time when I saw a bright 6.0 and a duller looking one I just thought it was lighting, but now Im trying to deside between them. Thanks again with everything so far!!
holly moley that alot of pics!! and all very well done and great!! was the color really as flat as it seams? How about in comparison to fly yellow? Were there little metalic flakes in the paint too?? beautiful car man!! hope youre loving the orange now
care to clarify why you like it more and why you say it appears "newer"...sorry im just clueless and trying to figure it all out
Hey Dan.... the 6.0 pix I posted recently are of a pearl color. It just makes the car "pop". I'll try to dig up some more pix for you.
ment more that it looks fresher then the other yellow, looks more expensive...hope it clears it up abit...POP is also in the direction i was going for...
