Vertu's phones are ridiculously priced as it is, and adding the Ferrari badge is only going to jack up the price. I don't think I could ever justify spending over a few hundred dollars on a phone, much less a few thousand like a Vertu. To each his own I guess. It's still a nice looking phone though.

Exactly. I look at that phone and throw up my hands and say, "WTF???", because it's so ridiculous, and then I find myself wanting one. Oh, well. Sounds a little like the cars, don't it?

Nice looking phone, but I have to stop myself from buying Ferrari logo merchandise. I returned my pit crew jacket - driving a red Ferrari with a red Ferrari jecket & a red Ferrari hat was overkill.

Veru is a joke to leading edge technology buffs. It is an outdated Nokia, all dressed up on the outside but woefully inadequate in every other way - That also describes certain car brands - not Ferrari, but perhaps there should have been an L phone :)

That's a good point--I'd really like to know what makes their tech so "bleeding edge" compared to any other cell manufacturer.

I'm not a fan of "lets see how many gadgets we can stuff into our phone so everyone will buy it" but for people who like that kind of thing, it doesn't even appear to have a camera which you can get from even the cheapest phones on the market.

Yeha what the hell makes that phone worth so much 6500MSRP for what. Look at twhat the iphone will do for $600. I dont think I really need a handmade cell phone.

If Vertu phones were truly worth a damn they wouldn't be built Upside Down .... like all but one cell phone in the world (to date).

    Peace,

    Richard.
