    Anyone ever had to take action against a Ferrarichat sponser before? I ordered and upper and middle center console piece in carbon fiber for my 348 from Valence USA..which is a sponser on this site. This was back in Nov. They told they would get it to me in 2 weeks. Obviously, it never came in 2 weeks...
    I called them after a month and they said that they would have it to me in 2 weeks.Nothing
    Its now been over a month and a half...I have heard nothing, recieved nothing. They took my money back in November when I placed the order. It was $700+ for the pieces. Ive gone from 'upset' about bad service to 'worry' that I am being taken.
    Just wondering if anyone else has had something like this happen to them and what they did about it. I have tried to call them but phone just rings. I can't dispute because I used a debit card (dumb move). Any suggestions?

    Sorry to hear about this Aaron. But I think you're in somewhat of a better position by virtue of them being a site sponsor, than if you were dealing with a completely distinct vendor. I know Rob tries to maintain the integrity of the sponsors on this board, and so as a first step, maybe you and he could have an offline discussion to explain your situation, to see if it makes sense for him to try to contact them directly.

    Additionally, reach out to members of the community to see if any of them live close by to the Company, and can pay them a visit to see what's going on.

    More drastic measures could be implemented later on, but this might be a good way to proceed initially.

    Just out of curiosity, did you get a good vibe from them when you spoke to them?

    This happened to me almost the same with Stebro last year. I ended up calling my credit card company to file a nondelivery after Stebro was non-responsive to my inquiries for months; the credit card co. refunded my money and charged Stebro.

    It looks like I may have to do it again with Elgin Cams. No delivery in over a year despite promises.

    Just my experience

    OBTW - did you change the title of the thread or did the moderators?

    Yes, others have had problems with our delivery times. Another 348 owner posted here several weeks ago after waiting quite a long time for his parts. We publicly outlined our problems and the changes we are implementing to correct them.

    The best thing for you to do in this case, is call or e-mail me. If you call and I can't answer, it's because I am in the shop working and we are without the office guy until next week. Thanks for listening, and I'm sorry that you are having a problem with us. The problem will be fixed.

    First of all, what info do you need to look me up? I can PM you any of it.

    2nd, how many guys named Aaron that live in Birmingham and have order two center console pieces in carbon fiber for a 348 can there be????? If you records are that bad, no wonder you are having problems.

    3rd, If you are running late on filling an order, don't you think you should notify your customer? I understand things happen, I just want to know where the money I spent is going. 700+ bucks isnt a drop in the bucket (not to me at least). What I don't like is being told that i will recieve my item in 2 weeks...then having to wait a month wondering what is going on...calling back...no answer...calling back....finally get someone, being told that I am GUARENTEED TO RECIEVE IT IN TWO WEEKS.....then not getting it within the guarenteed time frame....then calling back...no answer...and being left in bewilderment....enough so that the only way I get a response is being posting my plight on a public website....

    4th, my center console has been out of my car for over a month and a half...it looks like crap. How do you expect me to take the little woman out with it looking like 'open heart surgery' in there...

    5th, the 4th is the least of my concerns

    I remember the last chatter having a problem with Valence and not getting his order. It only takes 60 seconds to call someone and tell them sorry about the delay. A phone call once a week will at least ease customers minds a little. It appears this company is making more excuses and not solving their customer service problems. After these two threads about the same company I would steer clear until there problems were corrected. Just my opinion.

    Recieved a call from Chris, owner of Valence...He was very apologetic and did not make excuses. He told me what was going on with my stuff, said he 'reasonably forsee's me recieving it by Thurs of next week'. Very nice about the whole situation. Thought it was very classy of him to call. Keep you all informed!

    Hi all, Apologies for reigniting this topic again, but I need to ask if anyone esle is still experiencing problems with Valence ?? I have ordered and paid for 2 parts for my 360 in April 08 and was told via email that I would receive in 2 weeks. As of today, still nothing and now had to file a dispute with PayPayl over the matter. I have received responses to my numerous emails but with the same old excuses and lies. I have to say lies as I have emails in May stating that the parts will be ready "tomorrow" and shipped "in the next couple of days".
    Hopefully I can get my money back and accept this as a lesson not to deal with valence again. I have ordered parts for other vehicles from businesses in the states, and 95% of them have been excellent to deal with.

    Welcome to Fchat Michael. :):)

    Sorry to hear about this. The other thing I am sorry to read about is that Valence has not has not logged into Fchat since the 15th of April 2008. So you probably wouldnt get a reply from them, even if you contacted them through here. They are also not an Fchat Sponsor anymore. :(:(

    Hopefully Paypal can refund your money (doubt it, I am having issues with them now over non recieved items from an Ebayer) or even a partial refund. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    What WAS the outcome of all this? Can you please tell us what happened as it may be able to help new Fchatter Michael recieve his goods or actually get refund of his money. :(:(

    I know I will NEVER deal with Valence in the future......

    I am the "other Fchater" spoken about above. They took about 6 months to deliver my 348 parts that were "in stock." Ordered May 2004 not received till November 2004. It is sad to see that they are still up to old tricks. (You may be able to find my thread about it here somewhere.)

    In the end I got my parts but only after threatening legal action and the charge of wire fraud. (I had and still have the emails where they originally said the parts were in stock.)

    If you have been waiting since April, I would give them a "drop dead" date to either have the parts or you money in your hand. NOT shipped, they lied to me about that 7 times I think, but in your hand.

    Thanks guys. Appreciate your responses. As I mentioned, I have filed a dispute with PayPal and asked the bank to retrieve the funds (which they believe they can hopefully do). Its frustrating that these types of predators still operate. I am dispointed that i didnt do a search on "valence, not paying, problem" prior to purchasing.

    Forgot to add, I did receive my HRE wheels for the F360 from a company in the USA, and they were great. Wheels look fantastic and gives the car a whole different appearance.

    I am sorry but I disagree. I am amazed more that they were aloud to operate HERE. I was telling Rob about that outfit in 2004 and this thread was in 2005!

    Wow...I was about to place an order on an item that is supposedly "in stock". Not now! I guess COD is still an option when dealing with this company, but even that is not good in case the product is bad. Then, you might get stuck in the same situation for a new product/refund. Thanks everybody for the heads up.

    And that is the one thing I can say I have never heard about them. There product, if you can get it, is good quality.

    But I would only do COD with them if I were you. And you need to NOT NEED the part right away.

    I would like to point out that in 2004 Rob and I discussed my problems with V as they were a sponsor at that time. Rob was helpful and offered more help but V came through before he had to contact them.
