has anyone seen this? or done this? Don't know if I would do it but it's not bad. Any info? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like it, but I'd have to own two 348's. One stock & one custom. I love the stock lights at night... the long horizontal bars of red look evil!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like it. Although, my favorite is the speciale rear lights. If I could get that treatment on the back of mine I'd be happy as a hog in ****.
Not anymore Goth. I sold it months ago and went back to the cheese grater. I just had a problem with the way the lights were on an angle.
i think the consensus is that we are going to need some answers here! looks like it is just 355 lights with modifications on mounting them. then there is the whole issue of what is between?
Here is another pic. I wonder what was done between the lights to hide the holes? Wire mesh like on the deck lid under the louvers? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I modified my lights on my TS to make it look more like a Speciale. Here are some pictures of the finished article. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Me like ALOT! I was tossing around that very idea for my car. Now that I have see it, I'm SOLD!
Oh... ............. maybe we could have made some new brackets to straighten the lights then modded the middle like mine below.....?? Yes that is the ultimate in breathing...... like the P4/5 too.. Thats what I did..... !!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, I love it.......solves my problems; 355 conversion didnt seem to carry the cheese grater all the way around, BUT at the same time....I hate the square lights. I just went in the garage and pulled off the grates and the square lights....I think I am going to fabricate an aluminum "carrier" for the lights (painted flat black) and then black mesh ala F40. Anyone know where I can get some reasonbly priced 355 lights?
Goth, dude... when are you gonna start producing a Goth-Grill/round taillight conversion for the 348?!?! I'd buy the kit from that ''Raywheels'' guy, but $2300 for that thing is obscene... and that thing wont let my 348 breath in the HOT desert summers like the Goth-Grill would! Now that I think about it, if the ''Raywheels'' guy actually personally delivered the kit to my home and installed it... the price may begin to inch toward ''fair''. The shipping charge alone is more than a 1 way flight on SWA from LA to Vegas!
lol....... I need a 348 victom......errr..... volunteer...... yeah thats it ......... though those 355 tail lights start adding up when you buy the whole set new. Coupled with the wiring and all I could see why the 348 grill price gets up there. I would not mind helping someone change an existing 348 to 355 conversion to a 'goth grill'..... but don't have the time to start another project right now..... . 'Cooling' is the main reason I did mine ....and being just a bolt-on mod shouldn't ruffle too many feathers. Post some pics of that custom grill you had installed. It sounds pretty cool !! Wow, they did a very good job... ! I wonder what exhaust they used/made?
Ricambi carries the rear 355 tail lights for $867.00. Anyone know the amount of electrical issues in splicing the 348 wiring? 12V bulbs are not that difficult to work, however if the brake and tail (night) lights are on the same bulb on the 355, could cause problems splicing 348.
I thought the guy on ferrariads that is selling the round conversions, sells only the lights and electical harness to connect them if you ask...
