I bought a 2005 f430 spider with 15k miles on it in prestine condition. The car is awesome but I notice some creaking noise when going over bumps, speed breakers and such. I told the dealer and they said it was the suspension arms which they lubricated. That hasn't helped any and they told me it s common on these cars. The noise seems excessive, like they dash is loose or something....pretty annoying. Anybody have this issue??

Upper or lower ball joints, Flanblocks or shock bolts. Needs to be on a lift to check for these.

Had the creaking noise with my 430.Service never comletely rectified it after 3 attempts. Seemed to be coming from the dashboard area.
Now with a '09 scuderia it creaks occasionally when going down a steep driveway.
It is annoying but if everything else checks out try to ignore it.

Is the noise coming from the actual suspension or the dash area?

The exact same thing happens with my 2005 F430. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I get some dash-area creaks when traversing inclines/driveways, too. It's not a real big deal, but it is a little disappointing.. late model Ferraris should be drum tight. The car is pretty quiet/solid over regular bumps, though. But, it's not just Ferrari.. my 996TT creaked a bit, too. My 997 GT3, however, was very tight - some occasional suspension noises, but otherwise very quiet/solid.

+1 for dash area creaks and groans in a 2009 Scuderia when going down steep inclines at an angle to avoid scraping the nose.

Mine only does it in that situation thankfully. Stiff suspension plus carbon fiber = normal creeks and noises.

Not usually the dash itself but typically the windshield seal.

Mine had a problem with a noise in the dash and the radio space in the dash was to big for the Becker so I use a little piece of electrical tape around the radio and no more noise.

My 2005 developed the noise. I thought it was coming from inside. Turned out to be the bushings. The dealer lubed them which helped for a while and then replaced them under warranty. So far, so good on the new ones.

my 06 has creak noise that sounded very very loud and like it was coming from inside the car. but its actually from suspension area. Im not sure what it is, but after the car is warm and driven around it goes away. does urs not go away?

Oh jeez - not this again. What kind of racket are you trying to run here? You better make a mad dash for the hills before you get lynched!

And my gearbox is F1, so I actually do have the paddles.

had the same on my 360 from the front left side but only when the car got warm. Flanblocks needed greasing but will have to be replaced eventually.

update: So after I mentioned above that mine only did the creak / snap in the drive, it started to develop it in other driving. Then after a good creak a piece of foam (about 2"x4") thin, low cell count with glue on the back, fell out of the dash and onto the passenger side foot well. Now the sound is even worse.

I might just poke around up there to see where it came from vs. the dreaded trip to the dealer! If I note anything interesting I will let you all know.

I had the same thing happen in my 08 scud and took it into the dealer. They had to replace the control arm bushings because they were cracked. I found it to be strange since car at the time had less than 500 miles but service guy said its not at all uncommon on 430s in general. I also have seen posts for 360cs with the same issues.

May I know which parts exactly need to be replaced, in order to get rid of the suspension noise.
The dealer just keeps on lubricates the bushings, it was fine for a while, but the noise from the suspensions keep coming back.

    Thanks

They cured mine with sway bar bushings after using a remote listening device on a test drive. Hope this helps.
