Saturday August 15 will be a MWSCC/FC outing. Plans include a morning social, meet at the Indy Cars and Coffee Paradise Bakery location, 9510 N. Meridian Street Indianapolis, IN. 46260 Depart Cars and Coffee on the north side at 11 am to a Corp Jet Hangar at the Indianapolis Airport. If you can't make C&C, meet at the Hangar at 11:30 am. 6871 Pierson Drive, Indianapolis, In. 46241 (See map) http://www.mapquest.com/maps?city=Indianapolis&state=IN...088&geocode=ADDRESS At the hangar, we'll set up group shot and individual staged ops with a Leer 55 for nice high tech style shots of your car. Certain members with excellent photo skills and equipment will be present to help and provide real high quality images of the event. Following that segment, we'll depart for a rural drive thru the greatest roads of south central Indiana with a late lunch stop along the way. Plan on 150 +/- miles for the route. Please indicate what portions of the day's activities you are planning to attend as TSA needs to be aware of the cars at the airport, and I'll need to provide a rough head count to the restaurant staff. Since making my vacation plans several cool car related things have come up for the 15th. This is the one that I would like to do the most, unfortunately, the girls and I will be in Virginia. Have fun and post LOTS of pics!!!! JIM
I will be headin up to Indy around 7am Saturday morning (15th). Driving through Brown Co is always high on my list of things to do. Does anyone want to caravan from Louisville? The drive to Cars & Coffee takes about 1.5 hours.
Any idea on how many cars are going to be there? If the weather is good, I'll probably be there in my Jag STR. I did show up to a C & C once this year, but never had the time to meet anyone (daughter rode along and got bored quickly). Maybe this time I can meet some people and put some faces with user names on here. I called a customer of mine in Cincy and let him know about the drive. Hopefully, him and another customer will make the trip up with their 355's.
You make the 12th one so far that says they are in. Thanks. Of course C&C will have dozens based on the past few weeks.
Sounds like a good time and a fun drive. I'll let you know how many others I can round up. Possibly 2 F355's, 328, BMW 335ci, and a couple of Corvettes. Hopefully the 288 and F40 will be at C & C this week too. I'd like to see those in person. Do you have a route worked up and restaurant lined up?
Yes, I'm set with the route and restaurants. General parameters upcoming, route maps distributed Sat am.
What is the time frame of the cruising portion? I can't do the whole day but might be able to sneak up for the cruise. Louisville isn't too far from that area.
Likely we'll have a spot south of Indy where we jump off into the twisties that would be convenient for you. Probably 1 pm ish. I'll keep that in mind and plan a gas stop where you can join.
I may get to the coffee part hopefully this week. Warning; I need to be touting my services so maybe you can get a free cuppa out of me! Was driving along US70 near Atlantic Beach last Friday about 4pm and was passed by a Gallardo, 4 360s and a 430 and 328, all NC or SC plates, must have been something going on, shame I was flying out shortly after. Cheers, Brian
Car is so close to being done, but is on hold until something happens on the job front. I need a signature: "Will work for car parts".
Hey thanks, but it doesn't look like it's going to work for this time. The anniversary is this weekend so there will be hell to pay if I go out driving for half the day Have fun and I look forward to seeing some pictures when you guys get back.
I'm interested in attending, but certainly would not be bringing an F-car. Is there room for a new Genesis Coupe owner?
Kyle, The Cars and Coffee meeting location is an all marques event, eeven bike, hot rods and customs show up. You are welcome to drive up. The thing I would ask about the jet shoot, is that there may be an issue with the TSA if too many cars show up at the airport, as we will be getting on the secure side, so if we are pushing the limit I will need to put the exotics in, leaving some cars in the hangar parking area. I hope you understand. Due to this, I have only promoted this here and one other sports car site.
Oh please, I'd feel embarassed to put any car with a slanted H badge in a photo shoot with just about anything. Its been about a month since I got it and still haven't gotten over the 'what the hell, I bought a Hyundai!' sentiment.

I am all set to make the trip up and check out all the events. I figure door to N side of Indy I'll be approx. 4 hour drive, so considering getting up Saturday early AM or driving up Friday evening. What time does the C&C meet usually begin?
10:00AM - Noon for C&C C&C thread with location, details, etc: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=240098
Bill...nice looking group you have scheduled. Bumming I'm not ready for this. Maybe next year if you are up for a repeat. Post up pics when done. One with all the Vipers together should be really cool. Bummer you don't have a color collage of Lotus to be there too. Anywho...look forward to seeing you at C&C before you head over.
