Guys/Gals, As some of you are aware i had a spot of bad fortune over the weekend when i shattered my front RHS Headlight on the F40, as attached picture. Now after much going backwards and forwards i received one quote for nearly 2.5K and others all saying they'll get back to me and to date haven't. Then the guys @ Verdi assured me not to panic and they would phone round their contacts and let me know. Now i have just put the phone down to Karl and he's doing it for considerably cheaper, and i mean CONSIDERABLY! I know some of you think that Verdi gets a little too much praise on this forum but when theres a messy problem they seem to always come through. THANK YOU GUYS! Image Unavailable, Please Login
£2.5K for a bit of glass is a tad on the cheap side. I would love an F40 but the running costs scare me. (not that I have the cash to buy one in the first place)
Just to confirm installed today, great service, great valet and my wallet feels lighter but not as light as i initially feared. Can still buy a round in the pub In fact the one installed by the Factory looks crap in comparison. Thanks again Uncle Karl Just a note of warning Karl is psychic. When i told him my exhaust was smoking a little he asked if i'd been thrashing it. Moi, NEVER! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice one Albert. Which pub you buying the round in i'm on my way - to buy you a pint for the run you gave me in your car. You've given me the bug, if you lot just keep eating your greens an F40 could be on the table for me in 2006
£2.5K for a light Next time you beat me I will do both not just one.... Did you get Karl to sort out the boost? You are clearly running way too much power....
I was at Verdis all day today having a few bits and pieces finished off on mine, and saw your F40. It's first one I've seen close up, and looked fantastic. Pity I didn't get to say hi. I must have been at the shops when you collected the F40. Agree about Verdis. They've done a VERY thorough job overall on my car It took a while initially, but well worth the wait. Jas
I love those guys. Yeah, if you have your head stuck up your arse and you rely on the internet for your correspondence then Verdi isn't the place. I always find talking to people face to face works best for me. Build up a relationship with the team there and they'll look after you. Act like a jumped up twerp and then go elsewhere. Real service for real people. PS I don't have shares in Verdi by the way, just a very happy customer.
