Does anyone have any dyno graphs for the 355? Just curious to see results on various cars. Thanks for the help!

I have SAE dyno charts for stock muffler and standard capristo level 1 ...... both with hyperflows though I don't think the hypers do much for power on the 355 since at higher RPM the exhaust 'bypasses' them

What kind of numbers did they put down? I did a search on here for dyno graphs, but I didn't find anything with the stock exhaust, I'm definitely curious about that. Could you post the graphs?

Yeah what a long afternoon eh? ......... ;)

The higher HP is with standard capristo and the lesser HP is stock muffler.

Also I don't think it matters since when the bypass opens, it bypasses the main cats............and main cats are hypers on both runs.

Seems like there is a lot of range in the numbers that I've seen... I know it's hard to compare different cars on different dynos on different days, but I've seen from about 290 to 320. 30 hp is a pretty large range! And 290 at the wheels seems kinda low to me--pretty sure that doesn't equate to 375.

Sometimes this forum makes me wonder about these cars--from the posts saying that they're heavier than Ferrari claims to the dyno graphs that look like the cars don't make the 375 advertised hp...

Of course I still want one. :)

My 355 without the SAE factored in made 310hp to the wheels, but according to the SAE calculations it was a good day....... ;)

The reason I posted this was to show the difference between stock and capristo.

.........and yes you better buy one ..... ;)

Oh, I'm planning on it! :D I've been looking for a while now...

I hope you didn't take offense to the comment about the car looking like it's low on power! It just struck me as strange how much range I've seen in 355 dynos. Couple that with the talk in some of the other threads about 355s being heavier than advertised or having less than the advertised power and it just makes me wonder.

By the way, it looks like the Capristo added a nice bump to the mid-range torque! Of course, all of that it gravy compared to the sound! :)

    No worries... ;)

I ran these dyno tests as a 'data collect' for comparison when I get my full custom exhaust installed..... :) ................. that dyno I used is also used by many tuners and magazine shoot outs because of its consistency and conservative readings.

You are right in that many dynos give a varied range of numbers. I know of a few dynos where I can show my car can make over 330HP to the wheels with stock exhaust...!!!!............... but then I would just be lying to myself..... ;)

The capristo made less HP than I expected from stock.... it only added 6 RWHP in this exemplar............ but as you said the sound of the 'standard' version was great ...... :)
