My brakebooster doesn't work anymore. At the beginning it just failed after fast repeated brake usages - meanwhile it doesn't work at all. The vacuum hose and valve seem to be ok (with running engine we pulled the vacuumhose and vacuum was constantly present). Is there a simple possibility to test the dismantled brake booster? I know T.Rutlands offer on ebay for brake booster with master cylinder. He claims to source the part directly from italy - any idea where from (italy is just 4 hours from here;-). My master cyl is (will be) ok - is there a source for only the booster? Any other idea? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Still have my brake booster problem but in the meantime I have some answers to my questions to post: Simply connect a hand vacuum pump to the vacuumhose connection of the booster and you should be able to build up vacuum of at least 0.5 bar. http://www.accorneroservofreni.it/ A reconditioning would cost 320 Euro and the new booster 800 Euro. Unfortunately I didn't know this source and sent my booster in january to www.dinoparts.de. After a few weeks I received it back but it was still without function (although they claim to test it before delivery!) I returned it and the car sits in the garage without brakes and the season began without me :-( Has any european reader experience with dinoparts? gian franco (the unlucky fellow) Image Unavailable, Please Login
