Yes it is the 348 SS - TS stye.
It says it on the radio dash cover, Speciale TS.
As for the year, you'd have to check.

Rear lights and seats are exactly why its an SS. Those were specific to only the '93 SS model along with the extra front lip. The wider track on rear was also specific to '93 SS. The GTS was a Euro only model in '93 and '94.

I would like to have those seats. I hear they are rather uncomfortable though.

Mine has them, and they are actually not bad at all in terms of comfort. I drove today for over an hour and they were comfortable throughout. Haven't tried them on longer drives though.

Some additional info to what was already said. The seats, frt spoiler lip, rear tail lamps, frt grill, door panels, plaque on the dash, lack of any script on the rear of the engine hood, the rear track ie; wheels are flush with the fender edges are all unique to the SS and would varify that this car is a 348SS. The only info that I don't see is the number plate on the pass. door A pilar that states which one of a 100 it is. All were titled as '93s altho about a 3rd show build dates in '92. It's too bad these morons can't get the model of the car correct in the add LOL. Regards, Vern

It's #78 of 100 Serie Speciale model. Originally black with cream. I think it's the only black/cream SS built.

Hey Richard, How are ya? I think your right on that, I don't see another one on my list. there is a red/cream No. 81. But I only have 81 cars on my list so I am missing a few. For having 40K on it it looks to be in fairly good shape maybe you should get your CH a sibling. Regards, Vern

Look at the 8th to the last digit of the VIN. It's a 'P', which would indicate a '93.

Oh, I have just collected alot of it from this sight and various members here. A great book is Keith Bluemel's "Original Ferrari V8". It covers 308 GT4 through the 348 including 288 GTO and F40. It's got alot on production numbers and differences with in model years.
