    Cool, thanks!

Curious what your source is, that is if you are able to disclose it.

In the Forza F355 Buyers' Guide (Issue #21) it is quoted that there were a total of 11,273 F355s (8,649 6-speed, 2,624 F1) vs. your total of 11,206. Not really a big difference either way, but if we're to get a definitive answer to this, then I'm curious which is correct.

    According to Forza there were:
    3,938 6-speed Berlinettas
    2,048 6-speed GTSs
    2,663 6-speed Spiders

They did not have available a breakdown of F1 cars by model, but if we do the math combining your numbers with Forza we get roughly:
    977 F1 Berlinettas
    529 F1 GTSs
    1051 F1 Spiders

Interesting to note that, according to this approximate breakdown, there are more F1 Spiders than B's, but more 6-speed B's than Spiders. Not really surprising though.

Errrm. Unless my maths is wrong, your figures match Tony's (11,206 total).

Perhaps Forza didn't total them correctly, or the additional cars were test cars not listed???

Well, I assumed Tony's breakdown included both 6-speed and F1 for each model's total. His total for both versions is 11,206 whereas Forza quoted 11,273. Thus, there is a discrepancy there. Forza provided breakdown by model for 6-speed cars, so I, curious as can be, decided to calculate an approximate F1 breakdown using his numbers for model breakdown which include F1 + 6-speed cars.

If you add up the Forza numbers for 6-speed with the results of my calculations for F1, you will of course get Tony's total since I used his numbers. If Forza's F355 total is, in fact, correct, those F1 numbers might be slightly higher.

An added curiousity, I wonder if factory Challenge cars are included in these numbers.
