That's what I was thinking too... but the side mirrors are not similar and antenna on front left fender is removed... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I dont remember seeing it. But i remember a White on white QV500 (5000?) in our appartment garage. Owned by a very wealthy kid who used it maybe 2 times.
Yes Bolognini owned both places. I met him a few times later on, he was friend with my father. That place and the Charles Pozzi location in Levallois were always a pleasure for me to go to...like a Ali Baba cave...
But of course. How else can one use a Countach in the course of official government business, park anywhere, and escape speeding tickets?
My car also got extra antenna on roof for mobile phone (or some radio phone that time), luckily there where no extra holes or electric wires, anything that suggest that "mobile phone" has ever been connected to car. I'll clean it out from my car att first change... Could it be some kind of "has to have" attachment for goverment plated cars?
Can I get some advice from the group, The add for the Nouvalari exhaust raises an eyebrow, but I'm curous if anyone else has one on a Countach. The site doesn't have a pic or sound clip for the C/T so how many have they successfully made. (I didn't see anything on youtube) I would like to remove the cats, what would you do? test pipes, entire exhaust, headers, what about the smog equiptment? Thanks for the help with the options! Peter C.
Peter: I saw the same ad this morning too! Seems like a great deal for sure!! I would love to see pictures and video as well. Unfortunately for me, after 6 months of research I ordered my new Quicksilver Sport Exhaust system from Chad yesterday! Talk about timing! hahahahaa... Oh well, at least we know how nice the Quicksilver systems are. Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login
By benduj78, spotted in Paris in the early 80s, Countachs collected at the factory by their new owners on EE plates. Black LP500S on EE.98286 plates, and pink LP400S S3 on EE.94227 plates. Tony will have a fit over this one! Curiously, the LP500S has USA side-markers, and the LP400S has the same rear bumper as used on the Sheldon Brooks LP400S S1. Hi,anyone knows the VIN of this LP400?Perhaps is the Ex-LP400 of my father,he sold a yellow LP400 to Illinois.pls help!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
The VIN number of this car is 1120192, my former car, a car that I have had a 10-year association with, and have sold 3 times. Its ownership history is known since day one, and it originally lived in Michigan, then Pennsylvania, then California. I then sold it to the UK, then sold it back to the USA to Illinois in 2007 where it went for the first time in its life (this should give you a clue that its not your father's LP400). I then sold it a year later from the Illinois owner to a very private collector with just 3,000 original miles on the clock, for more than any LP400 has ever been sold for. Subject to a confidentiality agreement, it is not for sale at any price.
You started another thread about another yellow LP400 here too, asking for the name of the owner to be posted. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=307154 Since you are asking for private information from your very first post, perhaps you can fill out your profile, and Id welcome having a private offline discussion about this interesting car.
A great Countach video with original Countach factory production footage, and some nice driving shots. Its in German though.. http://www.motorvision.de/videos/lamborghini-countach-traumauto-auf-traumstrassen-motorvision-jagt-den-lamborghini-lp400-countach-durch-suedtirol,1375.html

Here is 1120052 recently. I would be happy to help you if/when you contact me offline, because the owner's name/address/telephone number/whatever cannot and will not be published on a public forum. I'm not sure if you understand that this is not proper protocol. Anyway, there are 4 (four) yellow LP400 in the USA, including the unique flat-roof Brussels Salon car, and I would be happy to discuss them, their respective owners, and their availability (or lack thereof) with you anytime, offline..
