Nice...is that on your arm? I did see a post here by someone last year that had just the prancing horse tattooed on his leg.

When I turned 18 (jeez almost 20 years ago...) I felt the need to get a tat, and really liked the design on a bottle of polish vodka. Quite similar to the SF emblem, but I don't think I ever linked the two at the time. Drove a Fiat X1/9 back then, and remember almost chosing an Abarth Scorpion image instead of the knight on horseback

Since then the only tats I've considered was one on the inside of my elbow with my blood type and "Insert Here --->", or an outline of the Nurburgring on my other shoulder.

I have the prancing horse on my right hip, just below my waist. About 4 inches tall. Have had it for about 10 years. During a 3am walk home from the bars one night, my girlfriend decided to show it off to her friend. Her response: "Oh look, a little pony!"

So much for impressing the ladies.

 

I hope you cleared that with the legal dept. in Maranello. They might come looking for their pound of flesh, literally!

 

My best friend has the 'Ring on his right arm. It's only 2" tall but the guy did an amazing job. Every turn is there.

Pretty well done. Too often the horse is badly deformed. I've even seen one with the horse reversed (oops!)

 

Placement is important.

Should one be imprisoned, "Insert Here --->" or "Members Only" above one's backside would be most unfortunate.

 

That comment will certainly deflate one's ego!
