Mega Thread: The 430 Replacement (F450, F500, etc)

The new one will be very nice. None of them will be investments. The notion that a production Ferrari will ever again be an investment is silly.

 

Jim, by the way did Jason C. design the new car before leaving PF, just wondering.

P.S. It's in the internet rumour mill at the end of the video, so unless your intrested about an old Citroen and the designer of BMW leaving. Oh yeah and a fast Ford thats only coming to Europe, So HA lol j/k. But on the other hand apparently the Nissan GT-R Spec-V is coming to left hand drive market.

Just what we need. Rumor threads started on Fchat, based on second-hand info off fastlanedaily, that were driven by posts first made here anyway. Talk about circular.

I'm pretty sure that pic is some concept car that floated around from some design exercise.

Ferrari's 6-year replacement cycle hints the Italian supercar brand is preparing to launch the successor to the successful F430 which first launched in 2004. The new car may be shown officially for the first time in October this year.

Rumour has it the sports car will be powered by a larger 4.5-litre V8 engine resulting in the new model adopting the F450 label. Like the F430 before it, the F450 would eventually come in a number of variants, including a Scuderia, a Spider and a Challenge. The picture from our files is an artist's rendition of what a possible pre-production concept of the model may look.

Sources claim European sales of the F450 would begin in January 2010.

Interesting photo....It for me will take some time to get used to.

 

The photo the guy is holding in his hand is very interesting. Better to ask either Napolis or Icemanbobs (Mike) how correct the photo is.

that's a photo of a one off car...not the 430 replacement.
