Most are still stock....the percentage of modded ones isn't as high as you may think. I thought the same, it's because the owners of modded ones seem to be more active on message boards. Either way, WHAT A SIGHT!!!!
Really like those pics But it seems that everytime i see a "group" photo, of say, more than 10 cars like the F40 and Enzo, it slighty "devalues" that particular model in my mind. To me, these cars are Hyper exclusive and only available to the lucky few. Seeing them all together takes away from that notion. Awesome pics none the less
Getting iconic sports cars together does not change their rarity one bit: not real or perceived. We all know what the production numbers are. In fact, just like seeing 27 Miuras together at the first Miura Reunuon in 2000, seeing 43 F40s together at Silverstone only speaks to how enthusiastic the owners of certain iconic sports cars are, to the point that they care to organize themselves to get so many of them together in one place. It makes that model seem all the more revered and important.... I love Reunions. Bravo to all who brought their cars out. Joe www.joesackey.com
Joe I meant no disrepect to the Owners nor the F40. I understand your point, but i was talking more from my actual perspective. Being where i am from, we rarely get to see many cars such as these particular ones in any such gathering at all. So seeing them like this, for me, is obviously different to how you see them

Thank you for your rapid reply Can I ask was this the largest single nation gathering of F40s since I believe there were only UK registered cars in this parade ?
Oh man that is just so fricking cool. We should have an event like that in Hong Kong but it would look lame with only 3 cars
I was thinking the same thing: every car seems to be UK-registered so 43 F40s from the UK alone? That has to be most of the F40s resident in the UK. Amazing! The owners should be proud.... Joe www.joesackey.com
