Hi Guys, I am trying to put some pics up for you all but the code is off and i cannot work out how to put the picks up, please tell me if this is correct? [img]bla bla bla this is how it works on other forums???? thanks
Hi Ross, It is different on this forum, only 'attached' images can be displayed. When you reply, click on Manage attachments (in Additional Options, below where you type the message) Click 'Browse' to locate the image on your computer, and then click 'upload'. Jpegs need to be at max 800 by 800, and 293k (it shows you that in the popup window). Once you are done, submit your reply and your images should be showing. All the images are at the bottom, unfortunately you can not intersperse text and images. You have a limit on how many images you can upload, and once you reach that, you will need to subscribe to get more space. You can easily provide a link to the image if it available in an online gallery somewhere, but we will have to click on them to see it. regards, Greg

Hi Greg, Just a liitle tidying up. Repaired the rear grille where it was broken on the bottom corner, Tried to brighten the dash lights as per other threads on here and bypassed the rheostat but it didn't make any difference. Need a new retractable antenna. Have bought cam belts and oil filter. Found an oil leak from the LH rear axle boot. It'll all happen! Once again thanks to you all for the welcome and assistance. Cheers, Ross
Congratualtions again mate! Your car looks SWEET!!! Enjoy working on the car, it is good fun. Post more pics when you can and enjoy the car in good health buddy.
Well I guess we are lucky to be living in "God's Country" Anyway the steering wheel is on the right side which is the "right side." How can the wheel be on the left side and be the right side? Try it sometime! I drive LH when in the USA and Europe and have no problems, but still prefer the wheel on the "right" side of the car! Ha Ha ha! Pap will agree and so will all the other Aussies Cheers, Ross
Hi Guys, Just an update. New Timing belts fitted, turned motor over by hand four revolutions and no problems. Belt covers back on and now just need to fit that bloody Aircon compresser etc back and all finished. Replacing fan belts as well. Old ones look OK but planning on a long trip over Christmas down the South Coast and just want to be sure. Will carry old ones as spares. Did not set engine at top dead centre, just marked all pulleys when engine sitting. Made timber wedges and clamped these together between the pulleys which held them in place. Checked all marks when fitting belts and there were no issues. Should be running later tonight if I get a good run with no interuptions. Lovin' it! Ross
