11 days (and only 10 for the UK gents) to go My cavallino is already scraping with the hooves like crazy.
I it such a big deal to get spark plugs in Switzerland? Do you want me to buy and send you asap a set of 8 ? Please just let me know. BTW & OT: Yesterday evening Switzerland : Ukraine was such a shame for the whole soccer world They even can`t get a goal during th penalty - 3 times
Sorry I have been absent for so long, but I am travelling so much I don't even know where I am now. Wait a moment... ok, I'm in Milan right now... I think. And next week it's Barcellona, and then.... TUSCANY (At last!!!). Simon, I see you have been spreading panic and false information please always look back through the thread, I have already written several detailed plans for the trip in the past. Anyway... I have realised that since last september my 550 has only covered 200Kms (shame on me!) it's just that I either don't have any time or it's raining when I do have time... This means I may not be so fast this year, I'll be fairly out of form. The 8 cylinder people need not worry!
Vignette on board, fresh cambelts done, AC refilled, some other services as well. Therefore I feel competitive, but I'm out of practice like Andrea... Guess, no danger for the 12-cylinder people this time. cinque
...cause you have never attended the Tuscany drive before. No problem, we will introduce you in the society of......... . . . . . . - eat as much as possible fine italian food - drink lots of fantastic Brunello di Montalcino - to party with friends from dusk till dawn - to drive fast but GENT without any risks - relax & enjoy a Ferrari related vacation with friends
I have not been driving for one year now... I will be the turtle of the group. Wait for me please... Ciao Eugenio
Just back from the very last test drive (I`m on business trip for the next few days) before we leave for the Tuscany next week - 8 days to go I can happy & proud tell you hat the TR is PERFECT! PERFECT! PERFECT! Just one little thing.... between 280km/h - 290km/h there are slight windnoises - should I call my garage master? CU all soon Wolfgang
Usually those noises disappear if you drive a little bit faster. But oh, I forgot..... you cannot go any faster. You own a Testarossa.
AT HOME IN ITALY, AT LAST. Fryday Maura came to pick me up at the airport with my little one. After one year I am driving again! Ciao Eugenio
I'm back in form! Officially! Yesterday I had the immense privilege of driving in the Swiss mountains (St. Moritz to Livigno and back) with a group of... ENZOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Pictures will follow tomorrow). On the way back I found myself behind a black Enzo, we were alone in the mountain road leading back to Zernez... and oh boy did he go for it!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the DREAM of all drives - me in a 550 chasing an Enzo.... the SOUND reverberating through the forest was awesome! But the best part (for me) is that while I knew the road fairly well he didn't... so I managed to keep up with him quite easily!! So I'm officially back in top form - how many people can honestly claim to have stayed glued to the rear bumper of an ENZO on a twisty mountain road??? I even tried to overtake him once or twice, but the road wasn't wide enough...
