So.. I make pretend cars for fun.. and sometimes they're Ferraris. I just started the Mondial a couple of days ago so it's still going to change a lot.

..I don't leave them stock. That said, I didn't mean for the front indicators to turn(get it?) clear..

A couple of places where some other things i've done live:

What program did you use? What format are the files saved as? Would you mind sending me a few of them?

Impressive. I am wondering how you came by the surfacing geometry? Did you eye-ball it? Or did you actually have to reference geometry to work from?

That's amazing. Did you buy the program and pick that up on your own or did you actually go to school for that?

He uses 3D Studio Max he says. But hey, nice to see another Gimp user :) I'm one myself. But I only use it as a better alternative to Photoshop, not for 3D stuff.

Can you email me the Zonda one to webbypssht at gmail.com? I have 3DS Max 7 and I would love to take a better look at it. If you don't want to because you plan on selling them or anything like that don't worry about it, I understand.

I get blueprints online that show (sometimes) perspective-free front, back, side, and top views of the cars. Then, depending on how accurate they are, move stuff around until it feels right.. so, of the choices I guess it's eye-ball.

I got the program and piddled around with it until I knew what I was doing. no schoolin' in that department.

webby, I'll have to think about it. I sort of halfway intend to consider selling them at some point. I've given away models that I also sell(or try to) in the past though, so that's not a big deal.. I'm just kind of paranoid about nothing. so.. maybe.(how's that for vague?)

    aaannd.. another round of "thanks"

I see. It's very well done. I've been recently working with a Cydir laser scanner in reverse engineering a motorcycle engine. The post processing is done with Geomagic. It's though the art department at ASU and I know some of those guys use Rhino for their rendering.
